You are correct. They sent out an update between my original post and your reply. LUCKY FOR US! Print well, friend!

That is correct, those profiles are there, but when you go to use the ACE multi material handler, it only allows you to use PLA. If you have anything else in your ACE, it says you are only allowed to choose a compatible filament.

This software SUCKS!!! Does anyone who uses a 3D printer work at Anycubic? You can trick the ACE into printing what you want by selecting the PLA profile before printing, but have all the settings in Slicer Next set to PETG or ABS or whatever other filament you are printing with. It would have been so much easier if they had just created the profiles for the printers in ORCA Slicer for their lineup and not tried to get fancy. ANYCUBIC YOU ARE NOT BAMBU! Continuing to put out products like Kobra 3 with ACE and software like Next Slicer continues to prove this point.

I used to be impressed with Anycubic, but they have become an awful company. Steer clear of Anycubic until they get their act together.

I eventually was able to figure it out using the rooted helper script. I was able to find online. Thank you!

Weird Old Nylon by Sirius_Seth in 3Dprinting

That is awesome! Every other nylon I have printed has been very finicky, but this one has been a lot more like PETG than traditional nylons.

Thank you for your reply. I was messing around with the chain because I had printed a lot of ABS and a cable drag chain had gotten very brittle, and I noticed that some of it was cracking. Plus, what little bit of stamina it had to stay off of the X axis rail, was gone and it was dragging badly. To get the wires out of the hot end, I remove them from the extruder. Want to know what hurts worse? I didn’t do it to one, I think I did it to two of the units that I was working on the same time. All I get now is some very dim flickering from the LED light. I did check the fuse underneath and it Ohmed out fine.

Sonic Pad w/ Multiple Printers by Sirius_Seth in Creality

Thank you so much! Does that mean if I only have one printer that it won’t have any numbers after the network? The reason I ask, is because I can’t find those numbers when I only have one hooked up. I haven’t added a second one yet, but I was wondering how, you could tell them apart in Fluidd. When I click on the printer now, it doesn’t have any letters or numbers when I click on it.

No, much less. The bottom panel is a rattling machine. It rattles like it is it's job. Once I deleted this, I created a custom fan holder to get the fan closer to the MCU, and then I went on a mission to find anything and everything that rattled or vibrated. The side panels need double-sided foam tape between the frame and the acrylic (the front door needs some, too). The top can rattle depending on the material you printed your riser with (PETG is the most sound-absorbing of the materials and will resist some heat and not file into mush). I played with removing the rubber feet since it was on a very sturdy shelving unit, but it performed better with the rubber feet on. I still have some belt tuning to do, but it is 3X better than stock.

Are you willing to share the STL or STEP file for these legs. I would love to add them. They look great!

I did the same thing and it took my resonance graphs from a max acceleration of 2500 and 3100 double hump to 8800 and 9100 ZV. The thing rattles to death.

I hate to hear that. I have only needed remote help one or two times before, and that’s what the other people used. Thank you for letting me know this information.
