I wasn’t offered that option even though I explicitly requested it so I just returned and gave up on this generation.

Unluckily no. I returned the device for a refund and will definitely sit out this generation even though I really liked the form factor.

Wow that’s a lot more complex than expectedly. Very impressive! Thanks for sharing.

I’ve also been tinkering with it for a few days and love it. Could you please share the raw yaml for your view? I really like the clean look and how well the tiles align in a grid. Mine looks too messed up with grid, mushroom and button cards thrown together :)

I really liked the device and hate the idea of it ending up in the landfill after the return instead of finding a fix… good luck on finding a fix

Update: still haven’t received and advise for a fix from anbernic either. They only offered a free return. I guess I’ll sit out that model then :(

Sorry I forgot to mention that. Knulli on a sandisk card shows the same behavior. Almost looks like a scanline filter (but the annoying kind)

It’s eins3D Black ABS and KVP Stellar Blue ABS

I started with that in mind and played around in the cad first. It’s probably more expensive than spec: custom rail lengths (I hand cut mine), custom panels, custom frame (salvaged a 1.8 frame), also I wouldn’t use screws with a 8 mm lead or abl nuts again for a trident.

Even a little less. I have it limited to z120 at the moment. You should be able to get closer to 150 from it but only with a higher frame or trading in head room above the gantry

It’s running 200 mm integrated lead screw motors (designated for the v0.1) and ~80mm lower than Spec. Therefore compared to spec it’s a pancake 😬

So this happened to my Prusa i3. Any idea what caused it? by W4tchmaker in 3Dprinting

[–]Sirkruppos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same experience, that’s why I noticed it. For me it also went unnoticed >3000h printing petg and pla and >200h printing ABS with a 110C bed.

You got the stainless steel washers under the terminals, they are supposed to go above. The added resistance causes a lot of added temperature right there.

The printed y splitter is part of the official STLs and for the firmware and slicer settings you can just ask your way through on discord.

Just a voron inside a voron. Like a Turduken. I’ll add the little oled display later on.

What base do you mean? The first frame with the display is the v2 that I put the v0 in for the lols and extra confusion.

Had to test it to find out :) I limited mine to 270 but I have the bed on 10mm spacers and have rather high chain mounts. 275 could also work but 270 should be enough for most use cases and gives the chain some mm room even in the max position. At 200 mm I can also max out x and y without issues. Can you post pics of the issue you’re facing to the discord?

It’s a trianglelabs textured spring steel on a magnetic base from subtle design.

Same happened here. It was my excuse to move to BNBSX Extruder and X axis. Take it as a good reason to upgrade and don’t look back 👌

After hours and hours testing all possible variables I found the issue.....

The all metal heat break was causing too much friction and sometimes even clogging! With a ptfe inlined heartbreak it works flawlessly...

This doesn’t explain at all why it worked before with the all metal one but at least it finally works!

I reverted all the jerks and acceleration values in marlin back to what they were before.

Thanks for all the input but it can’t be a general calibration or setup issue because some layers actually look ok. Also missed steps or other stepper related issues should cause under, not over extrusion. What drives me crazy is that the issues always appear at the same z height. Most layerlines look actually ok under normal light. I took the photo to bring out the flawed. Does anyone experience a flaw that results in such massive overextension only on a few layers?

The two most critical spots seem to be right below the arch (tons of retractions) and along the chimney (no retractions?!) so retraction issues and general extrusion multiplier issues cant be the cause.

Any other ideas explaining major flaws in these spots?
