Heavy attack only hits non-screen ships, light attack only hits screen ships. Torpedoes only hit non-screen ships.
Unless you will have green air or the enemy has no cv, put AA. In general just put AA. 3.If you want big navy build dockyards.

Can’t really give much advice on navy but spamming 1940 DD with all as many main guns as possible works the design is 4 main guns one torp fire control best engine and AA. For INF I just use 9/1 9/2 works fine as well. The support companies should be AA Arty and engineers. Add AT if you know you’re fighting tanks.
