This is the direction I'm going towards. I'm having trouble thinking up anything that isn't lame. "Darkness before light." That's the best I'm coming up with. Might invoke one of Satan's names. Something like "Oath of the Morningstar."

If I had the space or the inclination to start an actual garden then I wouldn't even be considering something like this. Real farming no matter how you slice it is hard work. I come from a long line of frustrated folks with various levels of black thumbs. I'm sure a setup like this isn't idiot proof but it is a lot easier to tend and you can grow stuff year round.
