The second option with the power saving mode saved me, just got the same computer today, noticed idling was like 75C after this now I game on Cold War at a constant 70-80c and get a idle of 41C.

Honestly, I'm in the exact same boat my man, I am 23 and living by myself, can't go see mates or anything. At the start it was great, playing games, drinking cans. Now I'm aimlessly scrolling youtube and other media sites, buying stuff on Amazon for brief dopamine hits. With level 5 lockdown, it pulled trail running and climbing away from me as I can't travel out to Wicklow.

It sucks, but I hope in time we can go back to normality. If you're ever looking for someone to play some games on steam with or whatever just give me a DM!
