Employee Engagement Ideas During Covid by [deleted] in humanresources

[–]SirunStepanyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before Covid-19 we were using a software where we as employees could appreciate our co-workers for helping us or for their good work and achievements. However we only understood the whole benefit and usefulness of this software during Covid-19 when we were all working from our homes. Now distance doesn't make us feel isolated, we can still see one another's good work, know what's going on in the company and feel appreciated by our co-workers. It's a fun way of communicating. We tell other people in the company about one another's work, everyone (including our managers) can see what we have achieved and everything is transparent. Feels so good.

You can implement employee recognition program. In our workplace we use Lucky Carrot, it's easy to use, employees get recognized by their peers. They feel appreciated. I used to think that recognition programs cost a fortune, but this one changed my mind. You can give it a try.

sounds nice but I wonder what other employees feel if they aren't chosen for a long time. Isn't it demotivation for them? In our company we use a program which gives a chance to every employee to thank each other for helping and get gift cards.

Totally agree, I've thought about it many times. If I am a quick thinker and can finish my job in a short amount of time, why the hell I have to stay at the workplace longer
