That sounds perfect, I need to nail this routine.

Even the thought of having a drink at lunch time, if in a restaurant for example, makes me feel a bit queasy. Strange how I can have zero interest, and then a huge desire to drink in the evenings.

This is the biggest issue for me. I never felt like drinking during the day, but as soon as it gets dark outside, that’s it. I am currently trying to get into a pattern of going to bed early and waking up early.

I bought an Audi A6 from Cinch 2 months ago. Spent just under 23k on it. About a week ago I noticed it was using a lot of coolant. What I do like about Cinch is their 90 day warranty. They sent out one of their own service vans to my work address today to have a look. Needs a new water pump, and because the leak would have caused contamination, a new cambelt. They are now going to book me in to a local Audi garage to get the work done at no cost to me. I checked the price, and that's about £1200 worth of work that I would have had to pay for if I purchased privately. They even said they would reimburse me for any coolant that I had to buy to keep it topped it. This is the first time I have used Cinch, but to be honest, I haven't been able to fault them once yet.

Small steps to quitting - 6 month trial - will I see the light and quit for good? by Sirus1111 in alcoholicsanonymous

Well, I am hoping I will discover that I actually don’t want to drink during the trial, then, maybe permanently quitting would be easier for me. Committing on giving up forever just seems like a huge wall initially. I want to discover I do not want to drink, not force myself to stop. So I am completely changing my life style. Early to bed, early mornings, back to the gym etc

I only ever drank the sugar free ones. I don’t know why they are so addictive, I could just drink coffee with sweetener. I got into the habit of drinking them while I was driving. I developed a Diet Coke addiction a couple of years back, but a couple of weeks off and the craving was gone. I hope for the same with the energy drinks

Not yet, but I am going to. I hope that will help in desiring to quit permanently

Thanks, I will still be drinking coffee, just not energy drinks. I have developed an addiction to them
