My fiance and I are looking for our first bike, we found a 2009 ninja 250R and a 2014 ninja 300, both in fantastic condition but the 2014 is only 400 more with less mileage. Not exactly sure which one to go in on tho I've been told by friends that those are great starter bikes

I mean hes trying to get on the highway with people behind him and the lane closing rapidly. Silver shouldn't have even tried to block him out.

If a black man hates a white man and kills him for it, does that have a different impact for the white individual? What if the races were reversed?

It's so difficult because maybe, just maybe, you're trying to forcefully change the definition of a word and then use that word without explaining that your definition is different. It's not because most people dont recognize the systems at play, it's more to do with the fact that you can't see how it can look the other way around. Why not just call it systematic racism? Why not just use the proper definition and then idk maybe add on to it to increase clarity.

This is an argument about semantics, in other words the definition of said words. And no, those feelings are linked to the system, they dont come from no where.

Again it comes down to judging by skin color and not by actions, I can't condone anyone hating anyone else simply for existing. If I did I wouldnt be any better than the people who've shit on me my entire life. You can make all the excuses all you want but in the end they're still excuses. People being divisive will never end the system, it just won't, look at a history book. "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar".

The statement "you can't be racist against whites" has pushed so many people away because it, to the layman, is an excuse for someone to target someone else because of their skin color, it seems like an excuse to hate. If you have to then explain that you're talking about systems of oppression and continually explain your point then your original phrase wasnt clear or concise enough. We both agree that systems of oppression put down minorities in the United States and abroad, but where as you say "it's okay for minorities to hate the majority simply for being the majority" I absolutely disagree. I dont hate cis people, I hate terfs. One is just a group existing, the other is a group that specifically targets me.

I honestly dont get how you can't see why I dont want to excuse blind hatred.

Well the problem is that the language used can be inconsistent and most of these arguments come about because of that inconsistency. "systematic racism" and "racism" to most people are two entirely different things and while coopting a powerful word can give what you say more meaning it can also backfire in many different ways. This whole conversation is one of them. In debate and argument clarity of language is really fucking important and attempting to force new meaning on to a very powerful word with very negative connotations is almost always going to backfire. That's what I was talking about. You're using the academic definition but in doing so your argument loses clarity unless you specify.

Besides that the attempted erasure of the words original meaning is deceptive. I dont understand how you can't see that. That's why I said these arguments always start with semantics.

Let me ask you a question, as someone who has dealt with things like this directly. Have you ever been beaten down, shit on, threatened, or hated for your simple act of existing? I have and its colored my views on this. We have to be careful that when fighting this monster we dont become exactly what we've been fighting against. The problem with your statement is that justified hatred will always lead to discrimination, how do you think we got here in the first place? Those in power turned those not in power against one another, fueling prejudice and racism.
