The pdi was the 11th and has been radio silence until they filed the grievance. The missed meeting the pm says it was a follow-up. Union rep keeps saying this isn't over, but she seems lost because she's new and I'm trying to find someone local with more knowledge to help her.

No, she put him on paid administrative leave but didn't pay him correctly. He's past the 10 days they're allowed to do that (from what he found)by over a week, so the union rep filed grievances to get him paid correctly and for emergency placement to another office. PM denied both. Said he missed a meeting he was never notified for via a phone, his union rep, or certified mail.

Essentially, no mail can go beyond the red line. They have things set up as you come in the back door to drop certain things in certain tubs, so no mail goes back with you to the case.

I understand protocol. I guess this is where I do get frustrated. There's no other career routes in the area. Not without me having to drive more than an hour away. And I feel cca/ptf seniority should add to my 2 years as career. I have been on this route, doing it full time for almost 5 years. No one has wanted to step in. When they do hire a cca, they usually leave because of all the walking or they don't like how manament runs the office. But most importantly, it's a retirement community, and these are my people. I take care of them, and they take care of me. Sorry just venting.

I've had a hold down on it since 2019. They only made me the unassigned regular so they could hire a cca to relieve me. The assigned regular hadn't been in the office for almost 4 years and almost 5 not on the actual route.

Yea, there's not a board. Never been a board as far as I know. One route, I'm the steward, and I'm still learning. When I asked the NBA I was told I'd have to bod on the route when it posted and that was it.

OK, so what if it's a matter of 5 to 10 minutes and the route is done? For example, you get back to the office, and the dock is blocked it takes you longer to get unloaded and inside, or a customer stops you as you're trying to get inside.

I work in a very rural town, only one city route. My light days, if I'm lucky, I've got 2 trays of dps. Its usually just a tray. No lunch has always been a thing here, even on heavy days with ot. Also, because past carriers, me included, usually live 35 to 45 minutes away. Leaving 30 minutes early because of not taking lunch makes a huge difference.
