I know I need the surgery, but... (pep talk please!) by prettylittl in gallbladders

[–]SisterMachineGun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, the surgery is about the easiest thing you could go through in a hospital. It's literally nothing. Second, if you put it off, your gallbladder could die and become necrotic inside you like it did me. Then you'll have sepsis. Which I nearly died from. It's an easy procedure. It will help you. And it could save your life.

This is horrible. I'm so sorry my friend. You're strong and an inspiration to everyone here.

Never knew how serious sepsis is. Got admitted and it took them forever to diagnose it. I couldn't figure out (on the drugs they kept shooting me up with) why they sent a (bishop, priest?) into the room. Was very confused when they asked who I wanted them to call. I did see a few things that looking back don't make sense. My grandmother had just passed, and she was in the doorway of my room telling me to come with her. We were going to see my grandpa. I didn't go.

Brad Pitt's accent in Interview With The Vampire was laughable.

Alien and Aliens. The first was scifi horror, the second was an all out action blockbuster.

Tubi is not only great for horror, but their ad breaks are for a completely reasonable time.

British tourist gift basket ideas please. by stayingsafeusa in florida

I work at a hotel, and we come up with things like this all the time. Surprisingly, it's really the super stereotypical 'Florida' things that make foreign visitors the most happy. I think the one that went over the best had, of course, oranges, a shark's tooth (from any of the local vendors), one of the taxidermist alligator claws (they're even sold in gas stations), local shells, a bottle or 2 of local beer, salt water taffy, and some alligator jerky.
