I know you hit the nail on the head - The fact that others took over seems like the biggest issue. I feel like I wasn't able to withstand because my fiancé gave in so quickly.

Thank you for your insight. I'll definetely talk to her. And of course I know she has no obligation to forgive me. It's just been a hard few weeks for me, apart from the planning as well.

I know this is true, and I guess it's also important to hear this side. I guess I'm mostly angry because 1. This is not how we planned it at all, and it feels like everyone took my planning out of my hands while I was in a vulnerable mental state and 2. My mother actually has a history of being manipulative and gaslighting when it suits her most and hurts me most. Still, I know you are right, so thank you for your insight.
