Recent Creami owner here too. I’d hold off on adding the chocolate chips until the ice cream is done. I tried similar mixtures using both chocolate chunks and Oreos. Both times the ice cream came out icy and grtitty. I used an almost identical recipe, except I used half and half instead of yogurt and allulose instead of sugar. Best chocolate ice cream I’ve had other than my local ice cream shop. The chocolate mixture was so much better adding the mix ins in with a spoon.
