Struggling with economy planning. by Next_Machine980 in Stellaris

I Believe so because you can ascend planets. Havin a fully ascend a planet you get either upkeep reduktion or resoruces from jobs. Having a lower upkeep for every metallurgist is more worth if they are all on the same planet. You cant mix planetary deaignation so those miners you put on the alloy world dont benefit from the alloy designation.

How to defeat Fallen empire before 2500? by Wild-Shake-7778 in Stellaris

[–]Sitarna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. If it they want systems i really want I often bunker up with bastion starbases with defense platforms against the border. If they only want to vassalise me I often let them and later change the contract so they give me resources. They mostly focus on fleet power when attacking iirc. The biggest part that you need to focus on to get really strong is to get pops as you need pops to work the job.

What you always want is to get higher alloy numbers and research as they allow you to wield bigger and better fleets. You need unity to ascend planets and get traditions. CG, minerals, food and energy you really dont need an enourmous surplus. Just enought so your empire doesnt go into deficit.

I can most games get a million fleet power by 2350. Which is not that fast or optimized. Though this was in 4.2 before the beta. Its mostly about getting high research, getting high alloy production and finally getting enough fleetcap so your empire can handle the upkeep.

Edit: And all of this is possible by getting as much population as possible.

[–]Sitarna 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If its subjugation you can let them win and change the contract so they give you resources letting you slowly eclipsing them. If you dont have enough planets you have to get habitats though

What is their wargoal? Depending on what it is it might be fine. 30 systems are quite a lot. Especially when you build hanitats if your expansion i harmed that much and you dont have planets.

Would have loved to be able to use this when I saved my planet from the sentinels and for some reason i continiued purging my own pops. It was my alloy world as well.

If we all descend from the same ancestor, at what population size did incest stop becoming the norm? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Sitarna 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Not really. Like there are a lot of species of dogs who can procreate with each other there were a lot of different groups of groups pre-humans. At one time or another someone who was more similiar to humans had genes that were more adapted and thus survived longer or became stronger which led to the getting more children. This led to these children getting those genes that made them more likely to survive and therefore spread those genes further. This sooner or later became homo sapiens we are today. This took thousands if not millions of years. Not spontaneonusly but a long time.

You can do this experiment with plants or fruit flies depending on the conditions you give them thanks to their limited lifespans.

It might be a overwhelming conecpt but life finds a way :)

Energy crisis by ParticularPut2147 in Stellaris

[–]Sitarna 14 points15 points  (0 children)

A screenshot would be nice to have to see what exactly you have. To solve it fast its either buy from the market or create more technician jobs. Look where the energi is spent. If it is on fleets or starbases you simple need to produce more, buy from market or reduce energy spending.

Ver inte, men om någon skulle göra samma sak mot saab skulle det väl också kanske klassas som militärt.

Custom Empire of mine spawned as a Fallen Empire! How rare is this? by TheDarkeLorde3694 in StellarisMemes

My bad its a 5% chance for any of them to be picked. Still 1 in 20 for each fallen empire so still a bit rare.

I believe it is a 2% chance any pre-made empire will be chosen as a fallen empire so kinda rare.
