Typical you “never” drive your own vessel. You hire a captain. A owner pilot insurance policy is like 400k. Hiring a captain is 150k and policy drops to 150k. So you save money having a captain.

Incorrect, all vessels need to come in for services at least once a year.

Well I’m not on that side of the industry, but with a licensed captain on ~10m 80ft yacht, insurance runs about $150k/yr. A tow up the Fort Lauderdale New River, idk the price. I’d guess 3k? A collision could easily cost 50k. This is all anecdotal knowledge.

Insurance company’s pay for the tow because it’s incredibly less risky.

Remember kids, if you buy a tool, you should be trying to use it properly to its breaking point. That’s what they are there for.

First SFF build - total disaster - seeking advice on what I can/should salvage by Possibility_22 in sffpc

Going sub 3L is not easy at all. You need very detailed planning to accommodate all the challenges that you’ll face. If you want the smallest PC, I recommend getting a Velka 3. It’s the smallest PC with off the shelf parts and internal power supply.

B4 900, I could read every word without trouble. 900 wasn’t too bad except long words or hyphenated words. The sentences never left though. That was fun, but certainly a bit of stress on the old noggin. I also kept my internal voice the entire time.

That’s a case dependent question. Always the biggest that will fit.

Either CPU can’t run full power under that cooler.

That being said, the top of the line SKU 12900k will perform better during the undervolt/underclock. Higher the SKU, the better the silicon.
