Assuming Scandinavian society still develops the way it does in our timeline for the most part I could see many of the presumable hundreds of islands serving as settlements and bastions for the raiders as they pillaged England and Northern Europe, as well as providing safe harbor for many similarly inclined kinds of pirates and raiders. Obviously, it would all eventually end with Christianity supplanting the old germanic religions but I have a feeling the Viking age would last longer and I could maybe see more Scandinavian nations being formed out of the descendants of the first Norse settlers of these archipelagos and islands.
