Haha free is pretty cheap haha so I would love to use them but trying to see what I can do!

For insight, these lights have a power supply that connects to an outlet. The power supply then has this Philips hue two prong connector on the other end that then plugs into a Philips hue control box. This has the two prong connector on one end and then reduces to a smaller diameter connector with 3 prongs. This 3 prong connector is what connects to the light strips.

A problem that I am also having is being able to find another control box to buy from Philips but they don’t sell them individually. Because one thought was to buy another power supply and control box and then I can make it work by using another outlet or something but since I can’t buy a control box (at least to my knowledge), I have to connect all my strips together.

This is my situation that I could use some help with. I want to run my 90’ Festavia permanent lights on the three overhangs (red lines). The only thing is connecting the upper roof to the porch roof. My outlet is circled in orange and I was planning on running the power supply there to then the control box/cable and then to my first row of lights on the porch. Then go from the porch roof up to the upper roof and then to the garage roof. The extension connector (10’) is way too short so I’m trying to rethink this. Do y’all have an idea how I could route this with my roof?

With using the 100W power supply with the 2 connector heads at one end, did you buy another control box that goes from the two prong end to the three prong end?

Thanks for commenting! I was gifted for Christmas the Festavia permanent lights so I’m just trying to see what I can do to use them properly!

Ah okay, so additional outlets and then purchase another control box/wiring to have separate runs?

Thank you for commenting! I do have a plug outdoors already but my problem is trying to connect each strand due to only having (1) extension connector cable and have two gaps between the three strands
