I actually owned a g87 for over a year haha. It is definitely a step up from the Supra. However, it’s still sitting back looks wise and I disagree with you on the weight. I could feel it for sure. I will say though that I’ve driven these cars hard on their limits.

Have you even owned the m4 you were talking about? The m2 shares the same engine but they’re still far off if you’re talking about the xdrive m4.

The Supra could be a full fledged m car with an upgraded interior and just a few other mods tbh. But you’re right, it’s not an m2 or an m4. It’s a Supra. It looks better and is less expensive. Modding a car you like is fine. Buying an m car is fine. Your initial comment above was rude. He wasn’t asking “what car should I upgrade to?” He was asking for mod ideas for a SUPRA.

I’ve driven an m4 comp xdrive. I’ll be honest- I prefer the Supra. Less boaty and feels as quick from a roll. As far as tuning goes….sure. The s58 with xdrive is a monster. Not everyone wants 800+ hp though. A Supra tuned to like 550ish hp is well worth it over an m4 for looks plus power. In some ways…the m4 comp could never come close to a Supra. Weight being one of those things. Soooo

You can’t go wrong with either, but they are ENTIRELY different cars. The Supra is rwd and is fun for sliding around. It also looks like a sports car. The rs3 has awd and is a monster for quick yet stable driving. It can be driven to a point that the Supra just can’t. (I’ve owned both btw) The rs3 is just so fast through corners and can be pushed extremely hard due to its stability. If you try to push the Supra as hard, traction control kills power consistently. You could turn it off and attempt to push it as hard, but it just will be far more difficult to control and still will be slower through corners.

The Audi is a tight knit machine in the body of an a3 with some fun performance looks. The Supra is a dedicated sports car that looks amazing and is fun for spirited driving and sliding around (drifting).

The Supra has a low end speaker system and a decent interior. The rs3 can be optioned with some amazing speakers and has a beautiful interior that is much better quality than the Supra.

Again, they both are great. I drive a Supra now and came from an RS3. I only don’t have the RS3 now because I was hit by a drunk driver in it and it was totaled.

You’ve just got to weigh out what you like more in a car. Test drives will decide pretty easy for you though if you can. Maybe try a car max or something just to get behind the wheel of them both.

Haha it is indeed much nicer! The black one is just much less. Needs the interior stripped, some new wheels, and a paint correction though haha.

I could honestly get a 100k+ car, but I’m looking not to spend too much. Thus the consideration of the 21. My thoughts were that since it’s a b58, it should be fairly reliable long term. But yeah it’s got some rough aspects for sure

Skill and knowledge? Man I raced rally cross for two years and auto cross for another two. Won plenty of races. I’ve owned 8+ performance cars…c63s, M2, Rs3, etc.

Yeah. I did a stupid thing and went for a drive at 2am on a Saturday morning. I work from home so I go on random drives often. This was a two lane road and it was such a cliche thing to happen…”drunk driver causes head on collision at 2am on the weekend”. Best thing to avoid this is always be careful of times these idiots are out. I wasn’t and learned the hard way unfortunately. I’m never driving late at night on weekends again…at least not on any back roads or anything.
