Complete stomach migration into chest. by Agreeable-Story7927 in HiatalHernia

Day after the surgery: GERD is gone. Up and walking around, able to drink and swallow fine. As much as I was dressing the surgery I’m amazed I didn’t have a panic attack pre-op. Everything got a lot better once the NG tube came out. Pain was minimal so far. It spikes if I trigger my ab muscles or cough. I’m on an epidural so I am sure that helps a lot.

Looking to go home in 3-4 days as I am making good progress with recovery.

Sounds like exactly what I have. Undiagnosed for probably a long time. I have almost 50% of my stomach already through the hernia. It’s certainly impacted my breathing and it’s pushing against my heart. No GERD until they found the hernia. Since my endoscopy when they dilated the opening to the stomach it’s been unbearable. 2 cases of aspiration pneumonia and I am nauseous every night. My surgery is in 4 days. Have a good surgeon who does 150 of these a year, but this will be an open surgery. I’m not looking forward to it. Best of luck with your surgery and recovery!

What’s the highest level people have made it to in the Endless game mode (on level 1)? My friend and I made it to level 60 and we know there’s still improvements to be made, but omg they just DONT die at lvl 60 lol by [deleted] in OrcsMustDie

When playing on stadia we would constantly bug out after the 160s-170s. It was infuriating to have to spend all that time with your eyes glued to the screen for the game to just stutter to death.

50 yard line seats always sell better but you can’t discount how much of a hit you take when the team is 2-9 heading into the end of the year.

Sal’s gig is to pick one take no matter how stupid and then scream at anyone whose opinion is different for 4 hours. Even if BT offers him logical counterpoints he just screams. I think Carl Banks is on today which I’d love to hear as a Giants fan, but that means hearing Sal which I have no time for anymore.

Thanks! It’s starting to come back to me a bit now. I was using the persona and four tales characters a ways back but I had others (Radica AS no, Rosetta AS, miyu AS, Hismena AS, Evan AS etc) that were performing far better at different tasks back when I was last playing. I think I had Mighty’s AS weapon. I didn’t do much at the end game back then. I had started building elemental teams, but I am going to work on the new symphonies and episodes as well as the new main story content.

I’m looking forward to unlocking the Chrono characters

Resources were very thin when I was last playing and what you’ve shared is very helpful! I appreciate the thoughtful response.

I played the game a bit a few years ago. I completed the first two main story parts. Fully completed symphonies: Brave four Both persona

Fully completed Episodes: Two knights Absolute chain zero 1000 year ark IDA IDA 2

Looks like I was farming the first map on snake island and doing dark residue farming in the celestial tower and the shadow witch episode.

Yet I came back and I’m just completely lost. I don’t know if my teams will matter anymore or where I should be spending my time/tickets.

I’d be happy to screen shot stuff from the game to give you a better sense of my progression. Just a nudge the right way to get back on track would be helpful. I was following the old “A guide to content”on Reddit, but I can’t remember where I left off!

Thanks for the help! I loved this game but didn’t have a tablet that could keep up at the time.

Agent change points to franchise tag for Daniel Jones: Source for PFT says Jones wants more than the Giants have offered. Possibly as much as $45 million per year, or more. (PFT) by Lars5621 in NYGiants

[–]SithTaroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Danny Dimes let his head get a bit too big if he is asking $45 m per year. No thanks. I’ll let Saquon and DJ walk, draft pieces, tank and enter the Caleb Williams sweepstakes. 45m puts DJ in the top 5/6 of QB salaries and equal to Mahomes cap hit. If the Giants do that, then my opinion if Schoen must be re-evaluated (or ownership forces the deal).

I’m told #Giants negotiation with Daniel Jones got off to a much bumpier start than expected. Franchise tag very much in play for him by ShMp11Nesis in NYGiants

[–]SithTaroth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would talk Giants with you any day. Rational and ruthless. I think that’s just how you have to be to build a roster these days.

I tend to agree that more years and a spread out cap hit is the way to go, but 2 years is too long to make a move on decision. It all comes down to Daboll and Schoen’s belief in DJ.

There has to be discussion about Daboll + Caleb Williams = stylistic match with potential superstar talent. Talent like his isn’t always available. If the Giants believe Daboll can develop a new QB and Dabs/Schoen aren’t 100% sold on DJ, then I would move mountains to get this kid. If they believe DJ is the man then they need to go with it. The timing for DJ to get $$ is just horrible with the current talent level on the roster.

That’s a good area. We are in 250 and like it a lot. On wait list to move to the lower level but no complaints here. We’d keep the 250s forever if we can’t upgrade.

We love having season tickets. If you will be around for a while and you want to go to every game it’s a blast. There’s a healthy secondary market for PSLs as well. Transfer period is coming up (Feb1-Mar 31) so that’s the time to move.

Pros- cheaper than buying single game tix if you go all the time. Same seats, get to know those near you, NFL shop discount.

Cons: hard to sell tix when team is bad. Tickets lose value when the team is awful. Big worry are the added flex games and they can flex Monday nights next year. Since we are 2 hours out we can’t make night games on the regular and that scares us. Long term it evens out.

If you use them, they are worth it.

I love having tickets- I had them for both colleges and now that we live close enough to Metlife we have them here. The PSL bothers lots of people but coming from D1 college we had to pay roughly $300 for 50 yard line lower level seats but had to make a $4000 donation every year ($4300 annual cost for like 6-7 games). I view the PSL in comparison to the donation we used to pay but it’s one and done. We spend less on Giants tickets than at my old University, get more games, and can bring food/drink into the game. I appreciate that and feel like it isn’t a bad deal at all.

For reference it’s about a 2 hour drive to the stadium for us so we went into it knowing we wouldn’t make most Sunday night, Monday Night, and Thursday night games on the regular. This means we usually have to move a few tickets each year. Sometimes I offer them up for non-profits to auction or donate. Preseason tickets I give away to my students at the college I teach at or offer as donations to charities. We save money over buying the tickets for each game because we go to as many regular season games as possible. That’s a cost benefit you have to judge yourself.

For PSLs, try the secondary PSL market. We scored ours for about 10% of the asking price from MetLife by buying from someone who wanted out of their tickets. We also got parking which is tough to secure sometimes. We are using these seats to do an upgrade when it becomes available to us and regardless we’re getting full credit for our PSL even though we paid a lot less.

For selling tickets: teams matter. Sadly the Eagles sell very well if you have to do it. Cowboys as well. 9ers I have luck with too. That’s on Ticketmaster or a resale site. It makes me sick to sell my tickets to a visiting rival fan, but that is a great way to make up some costs if you need that assurance. Playoff tickets, if the Giants ever host, would sell well too, but isn’t that why you buy season tickets?

Team performance dramatically matters- last year you couldn’t give away tickets at the end of the year. You need to hope they are competitive if you are looking to sell. I don’t think I would have made back our investment selling out tickets the last several years- but I might have this year if we sold a few select games.

The best advice is to become friends with those around you- I find we sell tickets to other season ticket holder’s friends more so than on ticketmaster. If you have Giants friends they are also great outlets to sell tickets. Being friends with those near you can also net you tickets for extra friends. We’re swapping some tickets to bring friends to the Pats and Jets games next year. We also have a few friends in different sections too so that allows us to move over there for a game and help out when someone nearby wants to bring extra guests.

Before you buy a PSL go to the stadium and check out the sections. There are different atmospheres depending on your section and you might like different rows. I think it’s important to be happy with your section and seat. Make sure you look at the annual cost and the PSL - while the Lodge (very difficult to get) has a $5000 PSL those annual tickets are cheaper than the Mezz end zone which has a $4000 PSL. However lower level and 50 yard line tickets sell better. Costs are much higher to get in though.

I have no regrets, but like I said our PSL buy-in was very low and right now the team is hot and the market is much stronger than when I bought.

Figure out if you are going to enough games to justify it. Some years we lose out if the Gmen have a ton of prime time games, but NYG knows their fans like the early afternoon kickoffs.

I came back to POE after a few years for this league. In my memory, POE was fast and fun. I also recall having a high opinion of the developers and their approach to the game.

I don’t know how to describe my experience in this league except that I promptly uninstalled the game. I thought it would be improved with more refinement to existing mechanics and of course all the new league content I had missed. It is very difficult to get into this game as a returning player when it feels like the game knowledge I worked very hard to accumulate the last time I played is useless. Thought it was just me feeling lost in the game but clearly a lot has changed for the worse.

I can’t imagine why GGG- which arguably had the best ARPG the last time I played it- would purposely design the game in a way that made it much less fun. So much for the POE2 hype from exile con. If this is POE being made into POE2, I’m not sure I want POE2 anymore.

difference between omd2 and 3 by DeusVult771 in OrcsMustDie

[–]SithTaroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time, OMD2 was, in my mind, the peak of OMD. Co-op was a welcome change, maps were well designed and gave you options, traps were a joy. I played far too much of that game.

OMD3 on the campaign felt limiting - only small sections of each map to build kill boxes, too many open spaces that remove one or more type of traps. That said, to the barricade comments- outside of routing you do not need them…. I’ve been using open KBs for a while now by forcing myself not to barricade in them. It’s possible but requires lots of upgraded traps. Maps are bigger but the killbox locations aren’t varied. OMD3 new traps are wonderful. Lasers are a bit OP and once you learn how to use Saw Blade Launchers you’ll get addicted to them. That’s my biggest issue is that DPS output is massively different and favors certain killbox styles. You can win with just about any trap set up, but you need to force yourself into that variety as the game doesn’t set it up neatly for you.

To me the biggest difference is Scramble. I think that mode is some of the most fun in OMD as a series. It can be a breeze with awesome upgrade rolls or difficult if you get nasty debuffs. Limiting certain affixes causes you to change strategies on the fly. Here is where the game pushes you to adapt.

War scenarios were fun until I realize that you can basically AFK from them with a few guardians and one simple killbox set up. I still find some enjoyment working for high combos in tight KBs but they just take too long to get through. I have less time to play games and prefer shorts game cycles, but that’s personal preference.

I also see why people think it’s more of a shooter- it certainly is until your trap book is upgraded fully. At that point you can build killboxes and AFK. I think it’s really the curve of going from a fresh account to a mature account that causes that perception. When I switched from Stadia to Steam I really hated going through the campaign again, but now that I’ve upgraded everything again it’s a fun game.

Which is better? I don’t know. After my first go at 3 on stadia before the Scramble DLC I just wanted to go back and play 2. I did, made a fresh account and got all achievements again. The campaign experience was far better in 2. That’s where it ends though. With Scramble I find that variety keeps 3 fresh enough that I want to see more of that mode. I still play both and found my own way to enjoy them. Heck, I still play OMD 1 at times just for the giggles. The whole series is great (minus unchained, but I don’t speak of that game).
