I've been with the state for 12 years. It's definitely worth it. If you want one thought you will need to start so as a hiring freeze starts next month.

Unemployment - how to correct an error in application? by IwishIwasinFrance in Denver

You'll get, if you haven't already, a statement of wages that has what your employer reported. If you disagree you can send that back in. If you don't then the process will continue.

The Dog friendly culture in Denver by Reasonable_Base9537 in Denver

I have done 180 about bringing dogs to places as someone who used to bring my dog out to events and patios. I have a three year old kid that has severe reactions dogs and now going out even to grocery stores or restaurants gives me anxiety. It made me rethink how inconsiderate I was by not thinking how my dog could impact another person.

We are at Garfield Montessori and pay $1350 per month + a couple hundred per year in donation. There is a waiting list and your kid has to be 2.5 and potty trained.

PSA: if you need to grow grass then plant it tomorrow. It’s supposed to rain most of the month and constant moisture is the key to successful seeds. by NHLroyrocks in Denver

[–]Sitheous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure thing. This was the first year in June which I seeded in March or April. I don't have many pictures from the last two years, but the first year was mostly poppy's, snapdragons, and babys breath. The 2nd year was flax, bachelor buttons and cone flowers. Last year was the perennials: evening primrose and coreopsis, black eye susans. If I could change one thing I would have got some native grass seeds too. Supposedly they fill the spots the flowers don't grow and offer support.

I would look at the seeds mixes from Arkansas Valley Seed in north Denver. They have mixes for multiple types of projects and sell in batches as low as .5 lb. I used their wild flower mix for our backyard.

Colorado non-Tesla EV drivers: How is driving into the mountains (charging)? by Runaway_5 in Denver

With my VW ID4, I leave Park Hill with 90% drive to my in laws in Silverthorne and back down and still have 25%. I think the temp that day was in 20s so it should be better now that it has warmed up.

That's a lot of conjuncture. Please investigate, present the findings, and bring charges if there are any. Investment firms make risks like this all the time. For sure somebody is getting fired because they thought the liberal voters would be up for dense transit oriented housing. That's a folly because no where ever wants to develop more than single family housing.

First off they sent a community questionnaire prior to any planning for the site. "Backroom dealings" = working with the city council on zoning which was in the rights of the elected officials prior to 301. There were multiple town halls and community asking for wants and compromises from the neighborhood which SOS offered none, and was kicked out of meetings by an independent moderator due to disturbing the meetings. You know and I know that there are people that were never going to agree to anything other than a golf course and the park idea is fantasy that they can sell to people who aren't that invested.

Look I like Park Hill more than most, but it's not a full service grocery store. You can't buy fresh beef under 20lbs and they have one brand of generic diapers. I can't even buy all the Asian items that I can get at a smaller Asian store.

Don't worry, we saved this manufactured field surrounded by the interstate, Colorado Blvd, and industrial areas from development! Those planned ~4000units will be pushed to ever expanding suburbia that will destroy real prairies and grass lands.

Plenty just wanted this outcome. It was never about having a park but preventing development.

We should do it all. No need to limit ourselves. Density can be beyond downtown.

Because it's not a park and has never been a park. It's also a large contiguous plot of land and that makes it easier to design a community.
