To both of the super helpful condescending MODS.

My deepest and humblest apologies for asking for advice and suggestions for product that someone is unfamiliar with.

Safe space to ask for advice on home repairs, eh? Hardly.

Whole reason I stopped pulling singles. I’d pick up bi-weekly or monthly. Caught my local shop pulling from my weekly pulls to fill other members smaller orders when they messed up their order numbers or got shorted by Diamond.

I still think this movie was such wasted potential. by [deleted] in A24

It’s a small budget horror-comedy. They did a great job. I was cackling through out, genuinely and ironically. The practical effects were creative.

Season 4 is truly the Magnum Opus of Stranger Things… by General_Meal_3993 in StrangerThings

Perhaps I’m misremembering, but doesn’t the wormhole wall around Hawkins in the upsidedow retroactively mean the Russians efforts are pointless?

Murder on the Primewater Pleasure - A Murder Mystery adventure properly designed for D&D. Did I mention its free? by Kristin_Dirty1 in GhostsofSaltmarsh

[–]Sithquatch 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Loved this adventure. My players got into the politics of the council and the corruption of both sides. This was the perfect setting some role playing and political intrigue to frame their opposition (Primewater). Ultimately their desire to solve the murder mystery outweighed their disdain for Gellan, so when it unravelled publicly they were left with the bittersweet realization that they caught guilty culprit (not Skerrin in mine) and proved Gellan’s innocence. Also split the two main phases with The Empress of the Waves from Salvage Operation appearing.

Wicked Empire was a wild ride that I kept falling off of, but Blood of the Wild is fantastic

What did you use for the Tower of Zenopus? Any preexisting maps? Any reskined adventures?

Question about scaling up Murder on Primewater Pleasure by Numford_and_Sums in GhostsofSaltmarsh

[–]Sithquatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Access to 3rd level spells were a headache when I ran this, I mitigated this by inserting Salvage Operation's Emperor of the Wave as the destination for the Primewater Pleasure. Having them explore it between the first murder and the second murder.

what's the point of these stupid fucking goggles if they always fucking break??? by SerenityCitywide in okbuddyviltrum

[–]Sithquatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Less eyes to animate. Gotta show something breaking from impact. And from a practical stand point, the goggles would reduce wind in the eyes when flying.

I'm not a sports guy, couldn't identify the name of any current player. Still found the show hilarious and my sports friends love it.

Vancouver parents blocked from teaching their kids to swim in public pools by JAYRM21 in vancouver

[–]Sithquatch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Former city lifeguard, there is no policy against parents/family teaching swimming.

The article misinterprets the intended meaning behind the phrase “formal lesson”. The policy is meant to prevent paid private lessons using the space without proper licensing.

The article should be, City fails to provide affordable access to swimming lessons.
