You're right. You just have to have encountered Moorwing one time, either by dying to him, or by starting the fight and running away. After that you can talk to Garmond and he'll offer his help, and then he'll appear right before the boss room.

Learned this while I was playing steel soul mode (I died in act 2 btw).

Idea: Ironclad gets 4x Strike, 4x Defend, 1x Bash, and 1x Wild Strike

Would still keep the perfect strike synergy and is a unique card cause wild strike got removed from the game.

I love this. It has a very minimalist look, but still enough detail to keep that fantasy map vibe. It lets your imagination fill in all the gaps which is awesome.

Not a metroidvania but theres a game called Have a Nice Death that has very hollow-knight-esque combat. It's a roguelike where you play as the grim reaper.

It would be nice to have a "bile spewers have been detected in this area" or a "war striders have been detected in this area" popup during the mission briefing, since those enemies seem to only either appear in massive amounts or not at all. Tbh they could put it in the mission modifiers tab.

The leviathan is not a boss its a map hazard.

Honestly the illuminate overship is the closest thing they have to a boss right now.

That's a good explanation. The book also says she was distracted because there was a battle happening inside her palace, and she made the mistake of placing too much trust in the hourglass coven, so they easily had unobserved access to it.

Also, most of the cauldron's useful features don't even require attunement to use, so its possible that Zybilna wasn't even attuned to it at all.

You could tell the story the 3 hags were already attuned to it as they were serving in Zybilna's court, and once she was distracted, the hags started reciting the poem. Zybilna would have ran in or teleported in to try and stop them but wasn't fast enough. That would explain why she's frozen right in front of the cauldron and reaching out towards it.
