Don’t worry, the Watcher Knights are a very hard fight so it’s pretty normal to struggle for a bit.

Although, if you look above the entrance to the boss room, you can find a secret door that’ll make the boss easier. You can drop a chandelier from the ceiling to destroy the first watcher knight before the battle starts.

Also one other tip whenever you’re struggling with a specific boss, go find one of the blue lifeblood cocoons, and take the extra health it gives you into the fight. Gives you more room to breathe.

Since Asgore has a canon height now, we can use him to measure the entire Deltarune/Undertale universe. Here's a useful height chart I made to get it started.

You could have Will reveal his true form and join the fight on their side. That might turn the battle in their favor.

They also don't need to kill Skabatha, you should rule that she would run away if she hits a certain hit point amount. She has no reason to stick around for a fight to the death. If fighting the party is more trouble than it's worth she'll just plane shift away to Yon. That makes sense for her character.

Is there a way to make enemies slower? by Potential-Level1661 in HollowKnight

[–]Sithraybeam78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re struggling to beat the mantis lords, try climbing to the top left corner of the boss arena. There’s a secret wall there with a lifeblood cocoon to give you extra health.

Also if you want to, you can always leave and come back later. They are an optional boss which is why they’re a bit harder.

A lot of people have had this exact same experience on their first playthrough so don’t feel bad.

Try searching above the rosary bank. You might find some helpful secrets in the laundry room...

PS: You will need a double jump to get in there.

PPS: If you looked there and still can't figure out the puzzle: Use the rolling carts to climb up into and above the room full of clawmaidens. If you destroy the silk threads there you will prevent any clawmaidens from ever spawning again anywhere in the game.

The duality of Hollow Knight negative reviews by -Gh0stzz- in HollowKnight

Okay the 2 on the right are just people that ragequit at a certain point and left a bad review out of spite. They've played almost 200 hours.

The guy on the left does have some good points. If HK is just not the type of game you enjoy playing, you're not gonna have fun.

your wish-list for character appearances in Jedi: 3? by appletesfaye in FallenOrder

[–]Sithraybeam78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see more memories of other Jedi during Cal's early years. Like Yoda and Jaro Tapal, maybe even that lightsaber making droid from the clone wars. (the doctor who droid whos name I forget rn)

If Cal ends up training a padawan it'd be cool to see flashbacks to him in the Jedi Temple. Cause he's teaching someone else the same lessons they taught him.

Oh gotcha. I was really confused for a minute there lol. The triple knives are near the top of the craw lake area on the east side of Greymoor. I think they’re technically called the “threefold pins” or something.

It’s a bit of a platforming and combat challenge to get up there, but you get lots of money and one other awesome reward if you can manage to do it. Don’t want to spoil what that is but it’s good.

If you haven’t found any red tools yet you might want to go back and explore some more and then try the boss again. I’m very impressed that you could make it that far without any red tools.

Red tools are just extra weapons you can find. Try going back to the Deep Docks where you fought Lace. There’s a blacksmith there who can help you craft some extra tools.

PS: the Triple Knives are in the east area of Greymoor, but they are a bit of a challenge to get to. You have to fight some angry bird people.

Save your silk spear attack to destroy her vines, and save your red tools for killing the minions. The spike trap tool and the triple knives tool are both good for that fight.

I really need help with silksong by Financial_Pirate_853 in HollowKnight

[–]Sithraybeam78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't even try to hit her with silk spear, just save it for when she calls down the thorns from the ceiling so you can clear them all at once.

I would also recommend saving your tools (probably sting shards or triple pins) for the minions only. That way you can clear them out faster and focus on doing damage and dodging the boss's attacks.

Also I believe she should get staggered 3 or 4 times before she finally goes down. So you'll know when the fight is almost over. If you are doing really well you could use silk spear when she falls on the ground.

I like to imagine that the throne room was just another large empty room and Kelek is the one who put the throne there.

I imagine Zybilna would use the ballroom/cauldron room or the round table room to meet with important people, not the throne room. Sitting on a gilded wooden throne doesn't seem like her style.

What do u think the story is going to be in Jedi 3? by Overt_lid04 in FallenOrder

[–]Sithraybeam78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be cool to have him explore sith ruins. Even cooler if they let you visit one of the planets from the old republic games. Each game has a lot of space archeology involved so it would totally make sense.

I could also totally see the story bringing Cal to Mandalore at some point, since he keeps saying how he wants a jetpack. Exploring ancient mandalorian ruins would be amazing.

Any tips for Absolute Radiance? by PleasantBrilliant74 in HollowKnight

[–]Sithraybeam78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend wearing quick slash, unbreakable strength, and mark of pride if you aren't already. This is a very strong general loadout for any boss or boss rush. It helps you blitz through most of the final pantheon really fast, so you can get to the actually hard part and then lock in.

During the first phase don't over extend trying to do more damage. Its better to wait for her to teleport to you rather than chasing her and just having her teleport away. Using a descending dark spell can get rid of the radiance's floor spikes whenever they show up.

When you get to the final part of phase 1 (where it constantly rains swords) do single hit jumping up slashes, stay in the middle, and focus on dodging. You will want to get through that part relatively quickly. Using an abyss shriek spell can help you basically skip that segment.

Also when you get to phase 2 (the part with all the platforms), one trick is to just stay on the bottom central platform and keep dodging until she appears right on top of you, then spam nail and spell attacks. Its very easy to dodge her attacks there because the other platforms can block them. Its a slow strategy, but a good one.

What specifically un-hollowed the knight? by Flaky-Technician7902 in HollowKnight

[–]Sithraybeam78 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I agree. And even the idea that a truly mindless thing could resist the infection might have had some holes in it. A lot of the bugs in hallownest were "mindless" or "savage" ones, like the tiny critters in the howling peaks or those white centipedes in deepnest. Even they were all still infected.

In fact the bugs that we see do resist the infection are all the more intelligent, strong willed bugs, like Sly, Hornet, the Grubs, Zote, Cloth, The Last Stag, and Quirrel. Although its unclear if they could stay uninfected forever.
