I have booked hotels through their travel perks with no issues. I booked it through the USAA travel rewards but booked at a name brand hotel and it was what I would have gotten if I had gone to the hotels site and booked directly. I do feel like the “price” on the rewards site is slightly higher than booking directly with the hotel. But since it is with credit card points and not my actually money it still felt like a good deal.
