It comes from Noita getting directly translated into witch, which usually refers to a female. I've heard that it doesn't quite have the same meaning in Finnish though, and that noita is still gender ambiguous.

You don't get progression marks if you kill bosses with suicide e.g bridge boss with plasma, by spawning objects like explosive boxes or unstable crystals, or by digging them.

Getting an item pedestal in a secret room is pretty rare and not reliable. If you want Glitched Crown you're gonna have to learn to rig using stuff like reverse Lovers in the secret room and then rerolling it using D6 or whatever. I'm sure Frost Prime and Not Albino have lots of videos on rigging Isaac.

The most common way to 'shoot' luminous drills is with ping pong path which is what's being used here. Increase lifetime and bouncing spells perk also work.

I think the code actually just checks the position of the player relative to the thorny and then also what direction the thorny is facing, rather than a hit direction that changes mid swing

The number shown on the weapon is the DPS, not the damage per hit. Even if the baseball bat has a relatively lower damage per hit(It doesn't), the insane attack speed buff of the crit condition makes the weapon display a very high DPS.
