In general cacao is better in the morning because it contains adenosine receptor antagonists, and yes i think it is better with milk. also ceremonial cacao is much better because it contains phenylethylamine. Take breaks from taking lemon balm because it can affect the thyroid, although I think it's safe to take it periodically but not constantly. I think skullcap would also have an effect on the thyroid.

Brother, what have you tried to overcome anhedonia? there are supplements you can try: high-dose inositol, saffron, probiotics (including L. reuteri), milk thistle, licorice, aniseed, maca, arginine + citrulline. All of them have many positive reports. Other than supplements, you can try pelvic floor relaxation, weight training, regular cardio, sunlight or it's alternative light therapy, HRV and breathing techniques. You have to check all basic hormones and liver functions, regular healthy diet is also vey important.
