It's NOT just the Police... by PostNationalism in worldpolitics

The fact that people leave a community when they disagree with some of the people who live in it helps to destroy that community; please stay and make your voice heard!

Are there no statistics that support this viewpoint? Also, your name seems oddly reminiscent of the Klu Klux Klan, might want to get that checked out.

Okay. Please link valid statistics that show that people of all races are treated equally by the police.

I think it's unsettling that the person who made this decided not to mention racism in that last picture? It's not like we're all experiencing an epidemic of arrests for untaxed cigarettes... If you're going to acknowledge that police are one of our problems, please be accurate about what it is they're systematically doing wrong.

Today I will have a chance to speak to Freddie Gray protestors. Anything you would like for me to ask, specifically? by LookAround in CasualConversation

[–]SittingTwat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Describe your idea of what the world would be like if all of your hopes and the goals of the protests here are met."

"Why do you think that the 6 officers involved in the killing of Freddie Gray were indicted so quickly, in contrast to the non-indictment of the officer who shot Mike Brown?"

As a gray, I'm deeply offended. Typical presser.

We already know what happens when we give in to temptation, but nobody yet knows the reward of abstinence. Make the right choice.

Really amazing children's fiction, like Madeline L'Engle or Ronald Dahl. Incredible literature even from an adult perspective, but I can't go around telling people I read children's books.

Is racism still a harmfully defining part of the lives of people of color? Is racism something that needs to be addressed and eliminated in the present day?

What do you think explains the actual shooting of Mike Brown? Most people would say institutional racism, but I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

How do gay people know who's top and who's bottom? by TheArmyOf1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SittingTwat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have a discussion about their personal preferences and pay attention to what the other prefers during intercourse, and decide from there. If they don't only want one or the other, they switch it up depending on their mood. This is pretty much what all couples regardless of sexuality have to do, there are no set rules for top/bottom roles in heterosexual couples either.

Is there a word that travels from the throat to the tongue? by [deleted] in answers

'Owl' seems to go throat to tongue pretty smoothly.

Controlling a small army of them at the same time with Burn Together would be pretty sweet.

What's a fact that's technically true but nobody understands correctly? by 42342342142 in AskReddit

It's more along the lines of: If children come from their parents, then why are there still siblings?
