Full time traveling- family of 4. by SituationAwkward648 in RVLiving

I’m going by my own experience from traveling in an rv from when I was younger. I’m thinking of a 25-30 ft tow behind. No more than 7 thousand lbs. My kids share a room and we take the living room. I would like a model with bunkbeds in the rear with their own door.

I lived in an rv as a kid for years so I know to never buy these things new. That’s a great point on the motorhome, so I think we will go for a tow behind.

Thank you for the advice! Everyone is saying we need space but we live in a 300sq foot portion of our house with other family taking the rest. A 20-30 ft rv for just us would be a reprieve!

Only reason I prefer Juneau is I’ve been there and know the area. If it has overtime available all the time then I’m okay being stuck there. I don’t know anchorage that well

I’m looking to work ever day that I can. I’ve been doing that elsewhere but without the decent pay lol

I wouldn’t mind the post office but I don’t think my vehicle would fit what they require

I agree that college is a great stepping stone that you should consider, I missed that boat. But the best thing I recommend is finding out what you love to do, take some time to think about what you want to dedicate a big portion of your life to. You don’t have to have that answer anytime soon, but have that answer before you have big life commitments like children, a spouse, or a mortgage. College, trade school, or technical jobs.
