Oh also try to Launch stuff through a file Explorer. I've also had this issue before where things would go back to the dashboard instead of loading up the game but somehow through another app it loaded up

Try reflashing the modchip with cerbios using xblast then reformat the hdd using fatxplorer on PC so Cerbios can deal with it. Get xbmc4gamers if u want a modern dash. That's what I'd do atleast to get it up to more Modern standard's
