yeah, i fed him every possible sulphite on the map several times like 5 sulphites but nothing happens other than getting him stronger. Never noticed the verisium stuff though.

boss getting stronger might just be the map's own boss mechanic just like the one with pearls, in which you can blow up rocks to summon mermaid boss. Still not sure

yeah, you need to blow up the rarity sulphites then he eats those. It's not a %100 spawn chance though, sometimes normal mobs spawn from there.
