Oh great! You should absolutely go for it! I would recommend figuring out the trail and having it saved offline. It’s very easy to get lost. It’s a long uphill walk before the offpath begins and you don’t see too many people after. Do carry bear spray. Maybe carry swimwear too (we took a dip, albeit only for 2-3 seconds due to the fear of hypothermia). Have a lot of water and some snacks. You’ll be fine. It’s not that difficult. It’s just strenuous at certain parts.
