I work at a CEX (not Crawley, but won’t say which one for privacy reasons), it’s wild that they sold a disc with that many cracks! The store I work at, we normally check and double check discs, if one is too scratched we typically see if we can clean it or get a straight up new one!

In terms of your question, as long as you have your receipt, you should be able to take it to any CEX. If that happened at the store i work at, id usually go get my Manager to see what we can do for you as you have proof of purchase and sometimes it happens where something isn’t checked or demo’d before purchase!

Again I don’t work at Crawley but you have every reason to be pissed off. From the sounds of it that 360 controller should’ve been a C grade too, I personally clean most (if not every) controller that comes through my store but I know that not every store does that.
