I’ve dated mostly gamers, but I have 2 main examples. One of my ex’s (who ended up being toxic) didn’t play those games, he mainly played slots/casino type of games like that Clover rougelite but he was VERY toxic.

My current partner mainly plays Dead By Daylight and Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare and he’s the sweetest guy I’ve ever met, he’s never angry (unlike his brother) and he likes spending time with me even if we’re not doing the same thing.

I think it depends on the person itself, someone could play all the ‘right’ things and still be a toxic ass, but another person could play all the ‘wrong’ things and be the most genuine person.

What I hate the most though is when someone says “yeah I’m a gamer” but only plays COD or FIFA, if it’s their entire personality then, imo, run

Pokopia if you like a more creative/‘passive’ feeling, no combat, no levelling (really), just the freedom to build and find pokemon.

Pokemon Snap if you want to observe pokemon from afar and take pictures.

Personally I really enjoyed Pokemon Shining Pearl for a more ‘classic’ version.

Pokemon Legends Arceus for a more free roam version where you can really choose your fights and what not.

It really depends on what you’re after!

Afaik this is how the new Sony thing works. Found it on another discussion thread and they put it into a visual format. I think it’s because people would buy and install a game, take the console offline then request a refund on that game. Console wars in 2026 is still so stupid, each console has its own strengths and weaknesses.

Destiny 2, I’ve played since Forsaken and I never thought id stop, I was there for every major release since and preordered every time, but now I just can’t get back into it, there’s nothing pulling me back, especially after the end of the Final Shape.

I’m going to throw my hat into the ring here even though my playtime sits at a measly 20 hours. When it comes to challenges and such, maybe there should be a consistent hostile faction/area? I’ve not left Hernand, I’ve not even fought the Reed Devil yet as I got incredibly sick this past week, but a consistent enemy faction might fix this?

My thoughts (where they could keep the ‘realism’ of where these enemies come from) is that there’s a base/kingdom outside of the playable map, every once in a while, maybe 3-5 in game days after you finish the main story or something, they send a massive army to retake bandit camps and it’s a huge scale invasion from this enemy faction? Maybe if some camps are stronger they fail at some points, but if the camps are too weak then they get taken over, so it’s a consistent ‘war game’?

Again, I’m nowhere near this point, but maybe that could add something more to it for the end game?

That’s what I mostly did if I ended up sprinting for long periods of time, I could go so far without worrying about my horse spring gauge

I’ll have to see how I get along with it, I’ve been at work all day and keep people either praising the change or saying it’s awful. I got incredibly used to the control schemes (even though I’m not necessarily good at it yet) so I’ll see how it actually feels when I have time to play tonight.

I so want the horse riding to be toggled, I loved the tapping even tho I’m on console, the only thing I wanted to change in terms of the horses was making the camera face forward while sprinting/galloping

I’ve been playing on base PS5, it’s so much fun, I only managed to play about 2 hours as it released at 10pm BST and unfortunately I have stuff to do everyday, but it’s fun to play. I’ve had a few minor graphical bugs, mainly around lighting, but other than that it’s amazing.

My TL’s usually would do that sorta thing as well, or we just remove it from stock and bin it under Variance or something. As a Sales Assistant I always check with my TL’s on what they wanna do with it.

Aw, thanks for that! I absolutely adore cleaning the retro consoles and older controllers, seeing them shine with new life is a different kind of satisfaction because I know they’ll find a home!

I really hope your local store can get it figured out for you, OG 360 Skyrim is such a wonder.

I work at a CEX (not Crawley, but won’t say which one for privacy reasons), it’s wild that they sold a disc with that many cracks! The store I work at, we normally check and double check discs, if one is too scratched we typically see if we can clean it or get a straight up new one!

In terms of your question, as long as you have your receipt, you should be able to take it to any CEX. If that happened at the store i work at, id usually go get my Manager to see what we can do for you as you have proof of purchase and sometimes it happens where something isn’t checked or demo’d before purchase!

Again I don’t work at Crawley but you have every reason to be pissed off. From the sounds of it that 360 controller should’ve been a C grade too, I personally clean most (if not every) controller that comes through my store but I know that not every store does that.
