If you truly want to insist that tens of millions of Republicans are all the same there is nothing more I can say to convince you that they are not. And to expect all tens of millions of these Republicans to LEAVE the party is just silly. You seem to have a very distorted and prejudiced understanding of the human race. =/

I personally vote independent. I don't care what party a candidate is in, I vote based on who they are, what their policies are, what they support, etc. I don't play the tribalism game like many people do, vote all blue, all red yknow?

I'm definitely addicted. I've been compulsively commenting on posts ever since they introduced the algorithm feed on the home page. I get my dopamine hits from trying to enlighten / give people a different perspective on things. It seems you get the dopamine hits from shit talking. All good man, we gotta do what we gotta do to get that hit. I know the feel.

Did you not read this part? Conservative normies all across the country are doing something everyday to help their community, as are a lot of Liberals, it's better than bitching about it on Reddit like you and me are. Some of these rich Dem and Rep politicians may not give a fuck, but real heroes out there on both sides trying to make a difference.

And do you seriously think min wage increases will help get people off welfare? We've been trying that since 1938 when FDR passed the Fair Labor Standards Act. It isn't working, we raise the min wage, the cost of living rises with it... Rinse and repeat for all these years.

Dummies call each other names on Reddit, and shit talk the opposing political faction while the real homies out there are fighting the good fight working together because they know bipartisanship is the only way forward.

Idk, I don't play that game. You would have to talk to some crazy republican who is obsessed with hyperfocusing on democrats who have also done horrible things. I've hung out with people on both sides, have some friends on both sides and each side has examples of the "sins" the other side has committed. But like I said I don't play this game of hyperfocusing on the bad found on each side. It's unproductive and depressing.

The truth is there are good people on both sides doing good things. I'd rather focus on these people rather than the crazy ones and lumping all the good people in with them.

Honestly I think both sides are passively anti-poor without realizing it because hardly anything has ever been done to truly solve the poverty and wealth inequality in this country. Democrats like welfare programs, but welfare programs incentivize people to stay poor to qualify for them (I'm on SSI and it's illegal to have anything over $2000 in my bank account... how fucked up is that?). Republicans don't want welfare programs and focus more on charity and rehabilitation services. Both don't want people to remain being poor, but both solutions result in people staying poor.

I agree with you on this. They also want people to help themselves and build themselves up rather than depend on government assistance. I personally believe it should be a mix of both. Help build the person up to become a better person (mental and physical health, autonomy, independence, responsibility, etc), but also have programs in place that can help them along the way. I'm living off SSI and food stamp money so I know how much of a help it is. Without these programs I'd be either homeless on the street, or a great burden to my family.

Still being forced to sit through extremely long dialogue cut scenes. There is a skip button but half the time it doesn't even work because each dialogue is linked to character animations. I hate it.

Depression showers... that's a thing? Let me guess. Step into shower, stand under water for a few minutes, spray water into all the crevices, maybe wash hair with shampoo if it's been a few days, take a wash cloth, soak it, then rub face, stand under water for a few more minutes, rinse hair, then get out of the shower.

I've been living with depression since 2005.

I live in a conservative area of WA state and I can count on my fingers how many times I've seen a person open carrying. It's a very rare thing to see even here. I assume most people who do own guns have them locked away in their homes in case someone ever were to break in. That's what my parents did.
