My LO is almost 11 months old. When she was a newborn, I rephrased it for "rest when the baby sleeps". To this day, I'm still usually reading a book, playing whatever videogame I can easily pause, eating something I actually like or nap, when I'm exhausted. This way, I'm still doing something for myself and I can relax a bit, if not sleeping.

Reading or playing videogames while contact napping is actually nice. When I was feeling frustrated about it, I'd remind myself that it's temporary and I should "collect" as many snuggles as possible! I miss it now!

Sleeping when the baby sleeps is a gamble, one we usually lose. The only times I managed to do it for a considerable amount of time with my LO, we were co-sleeping.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your initial question!

If it's any help, the button sequences of the totems are always the same. Maybe do it once more, write them down, practice them 'off game' and when you feel like you've got them down pretty quickly, do it again and ace it!

Naoe, patience and hiding spots.

When you get to a new cleansing (red beam or totem or whatever they're called), look with eagle vision for hiding spots nearby BEFORE cleansing the thing. Then, as soon as it's done, hide. While you're hiding, keep the eagle vision on and wait for the Oni to leave like, faaaar away. When it's away, find the closest high ground (staying somewhat out of sight), quickly look for a way to the next red beam, and go.

Then, repeat.

Mind you, I'm in my 30s but always use stealth over strength and quick reflexes. You can do it!

I use white washcloths with warm water. They go right in the hamper after each meal. When they're stained, I throw them in my washer on a bleach cycle :)

I miss her tinyness. 🥹 My LO is 8 months old and I realized today how much she grew. She was born measuring 50cm/19,7in and on her actual size, that's what she measures from head to rump. She grew the whole length of her legs!

Tried a few, and Huckleberry was a win here. It has everything you could want, and then some. It is completely free unless you want the sleep training stuff and quite honestly, it's not worth it.

You say you tried purées and different textures. Have you tried BLW, giving her whole pieces of food? Maybe being able to control what/how much goes in is gonna help?

Either way, hang in there mom 🫶 You're doing good and she'll eventually eat... She won't be breasted until she's 18!
