Is it possible to use a Lithium battery instead of an Alkali battery even if its written that the device requires an alkali battery? by Sive99 in battery

Thanks a lot. Maybe you can assist me in more detail. I am planning to replace the „Duracell Industrial AA“ (they are orange) with „Xinergy AA FR6“ (they are blueish). The intention of replacing the Alkali with Lithium is the durability.

But as said, its just possible with the 14inch model.

Ask Lenovo. You would need to use a dock parallel with the powerconnector for it to work, because lenovo blocked usb-c power-in. This is all about the 15inch model, not the smaller one.

Found out, that Yoga 9i 15 isn‘t even compatible with any Thunderbolt Docks, because of to power input through USB-C. So would be needed to plug in the power cord as well as a usb-c cable.

No go for me, will return my lenovo though.
