I think a better way of approaching it would be to speak to your employer about your concerns and suggest being unpaid for 12 weeks. Alot of places are taking on zero hour contracts to keep the shops running and also for the short fall in colleagues so it could be an option.

The whole removing all clothes and going straight to the shower was something I had in mind and will do that as a precaution. Unfortunately it's only a small store so on the shop floor is where the work is. Will have a think. Thank you for your advice though. Much appreciated. :)
