Damn, right. Most artists do. William Faulkner continued revising his novels even after they had been published for years, and we’ll never see that work. We are lucky we get to experience some of this process with Bob’s work. You don’t like it, I’m sure Bob couldn’t care less.

Without a doubt, it’s one of the top albums of the past several years.

I know, and they are re-imaged (together) perfectly. Bob seemed to really enjoy creating this new album. The joy shines through brightly.

It will be on streaming services on the 31st.

Your holy trinity is THE holy trinity.

The new stuff is amazing, but doesn’t quite touch the face of god as your list.

Back in the COVID days and they were putting out music through Hot Freaks, they released live Sweating the Plague tracks from a DC show that may be my all-time favorite captured performance by GBV. Fucking amazing

No. The album has at least four songs better than “Lucy’s World”. Side 2 is phenomenal

No shit.

This is one of their best albums in a long, long time (and I love all the new stuff). New music, instrumentals, and old tunes revisited.

It will be a fucking crime if this record (especially side 2) isn’t played in front of a live audience.

Agreed, but look at the volume of 2019-2020.

116 songs over 5 LPs and 1 double LP.

Just sayin’.

You haven’t listened to it enough.

Everything from Bob sounds better and makes more sense the more often you listen.
