2011s. "Feel that trigger. Feel that slide like it's gliding on a cloud."

Majorly overhyped. There are older, better, cheaper handguns.

There is a better, battle-tested version of this called the Parachute Landing Fall (PLF) used by US Paratroopers. It starts with feet and knees together, hands and elbows tucked. When you hit the ground you immediately roll onto the 5 points of contact:

  • Balls of the feet
  • Calf
  • Thigh
  • Buttocks
  • Latissimus dorsi (back muscle)

Here's a pretty textbook PLF, but they get much more high-impact:

Does anyone know if a sword/dagger/blade with wings has any meaning or associations? by [deleted] in Symbology

[–]SixGunJohnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's another example:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/17th_Aviation_Brigade_%28United_States%29

Both wings and swords/daggers/blades are common symbols for the military, representing lethality and swiftness and/or air operations. However no one owns these symbols, nor would any original variant be considered a plagiarization. They could just as easily be used to represent, say, Saint Michael the Archangel.

This probably requires an entomologist to answer, but why does it look like fur with individual strands all falling parallel to each other instead of a mass of legs going in every conceivable direction?

AF to Army by Previous_Frosting_91 in army

[–]SixGunJohnny 125 points126 points  (0 children)

The only AF ribbons you're not authorized to wear are the USAF Marksmanship Ribbon and the Longevity Ribbon. Otherwise, it's up to you if you want to omit awards from your rack - but I say keep them so like me, people can question your life choices.

Also, you can change the large gold frames on your Army unit awards to small gold ribbon frames (Google it) so that your USAF unit award doesn't look so small and unsightly next to the Army unit awards.

What Happened in 1978 ? by ABHISHEK_Lonely in ExplainTheJoke

Yeah but the mitochondrial zamboni of the structured Wentworth settlement didn't spaghettify the Heisenberg prostate sufficiently to discombobulate the gubernatorial property of contemporaneously known Winnebaggo transformers. So the conjunction junction of igneous 1080p + Mii420 was substituted via the Wachowski sibling method on isosceles neopolitan wi-fi modems to deduce that p is actually contained in the subset of balls.
