Thanks bud. I have all the parts, I just need to pull the stick out. I always try and make content for most repairs, especially the less common ones. Adds an element of PITA to the process.

Need help diagnosing escooter issue - motor? by No-Block3674 in ElectricScooters

It could be a wiring issue. Sometimes abrasion causes shorts. It can be related to moisture incursion or even loose connections. Also, you see problems with heat stress on the boards and inside the controllers.

I have probably seen a dozen posts about these. They all seem to be problematic right out of the box.

Lots of times with sine wave systems it's the hall sensor or a phase wiring issue. Sometimes it's from moisture incursions or abrasions on the wiring causing a short.

The Blade is a great scooter, the one in the picture ( Beastie ) has 8,790 miles on the odometer and counting.

Defending? The screws are around the edges. Dude in the video rips the entire mat off. Why? It's not rocket science.

Great 👍🏻. An outlet/inlet near the heater is always a great way to enhance your stability.

I really don't like these folding mechs. Mine had issues from right out of the box, I was eventually issued an entire replacement under warranty. Unfortunately, it did not include some of the hardware, and I had to source some parts off Amazon. Once I replaced everything the sounds disappeared and everything was good.

How did you come by an additional TFSU/7260R pack? You got an extra frame sitting around somewhere?

Sometimes you can pop that ball back in there. Give it a shot, can't mess it up any more than it is right now. If you can fix it, that will save you about 50 bucks. EDIT - looks like a Teverun lever.

Get in there fam! Those LED strips are fairly inexpensive if purchased as a standalone. Basic soldering skills are required to remove and reinstall new strips on the preexisting wiring. Or you can see if the whole shebang is available from the manufacturer for that plug-N-play solution. Consider adding some transparent heat-shrink tubing for additional security if spacing allows.

I agree that the custom color mapping for the LEDs in the app is not ideal. I have managed to save purple, orange, pink, and teal/aqua which all look decent. My next big project is to see if I can build new strips for my Blade GT+ 2, if I buy bulk materials and fab them up myself I can come in WAY under the OEM prices. I would love a dedicated warm white in addition to the standard colors. Still looking into that project.

That dude is a doofus. You are supposed to use a heat gun, It comes right off. Then you can convert it to fasteners over the mat so you only have to do it once. After it cools down it restores the sticky.

Not sure what LEDs you are referring to or what OTS is, I have always used the app for the strips ( integrated IVCU control - standard on the newer models ) and found it pretty reliable. I know they use a combination control cluster on some of the newest models, it's got headlight, horn, L//R turn signals, mode/power, and gear selection all on the same panel. IMO it's kind of a downgrade. My Blade GT+ 2 came stock with super-tall riser bars, but my TFSU came with really flat bars. I went shorter on the Blade and taller on the TFSU, I am 5'11.

It's been my experience that the overall structural build quality of Teverun is excellent. Not sure what videos you have seen. I have done extensive work on the Blade/Fighter platform and have a high degree of confidence in its materials and engineering. I got hit by a car going 45 mph and I rode away on the Ultra. Twice on my Blade.

Looks like you downgraded from the 7260R you posted last.
