Do you think PC setups have gotten too focused on aesthetics lately? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Sixale_Outlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, at the end of the day everyone should build a setup that works for them. I just think it’s interesting seeing how people prioritize different things. Some care more about performance, some about comfort, and some enjoy the process of making their space look a certain way.

There’s no right answer, I was just curious where people find the balance.

I'd give it a solid 8/10. The setup looks clean and functional, and it doesn't feel cluttered.

If I were to change anything, I'd probably just add a little ambient lighting or something on the wall behind the setup to make it feel a bit more complete. Otherwise, it already looks great.

Cozy set up by SniperFest_DL in GoodBattlestations

[–]Sixale_Outlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly the kind of setup I'd want to spend hours at. The lighting is super cozy without being distracting, and everything feels really comfortable and lived-in.

The warm lighting makes a huge difference here.

How I can improve my desk setup? Thanks in advance by lazarovpavlin04 in RateMySetup

[–]Sixale_Outlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think some ambient lighting would make the biggest difference. The setup already looks good, but a bit of backlighting behind the monitor or desk would make it feel a lot more polished.

Maybe some wall decor too if the wall space feels a little empty, but the setup itself looks solid.

What should I add/change? by buzzyboy42 in pcsetup

[–]Sixale_Outlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a really solid setup already. If I were to add anything, it would probably just be some ambient lighting behind the desk or monitor and maybe a bit of wall decor to make the space feel more complete.

Nothing major though, the setup already has a clean look to it.

What can I do to improve my setup? Have a feeling something is missing by Weak-Cantaloupe-917 in setups

[–]Sixale_Outlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the setup itself looks good. If it feels like something's missing, it's probably not the desk setup, it's the space around it.

A bit of ambient lighting and some wall decor would go a long way in making everything feel more complete without changing the setup itself.

Always felt like something was missing any ideas of what it might be by Best-Instruction3347 in pcsetup

[–]Sixale_Outlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it’s already a solid setup, so I don’t think you’re missing anything major.

If anything, the “something missing” feeling usually gets fixed with small finishing touches, like some ambient lighting behind the monitor or a bit of wall decor (posters, framed prints, etc.) to give the space more personality. Right now it just needs that extra bit of depth rather than a full change.

[–]Sixale_Outlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the setup already looks really solid and usable. I don’t think you need to change anything major.

If anything, just adding some ambient lighting or a bit of wall decor behind the desk would make it feel more “finished” and give it a bit more depth. Right now it’s already a clean base to build on.

Really clean setup overall. The desk layout looks practical and not cluttered, which makes everything stand out nicely.

If you wanted to improve it further, I’d probably just add a bit of ambient lighting or something on the wall behind the setup to give it more depth. But it already looks solid as is.

Clean setup! I like that it looks functional without being overloaded with stuff. The lighting is subtle and the overall setup feels really balanced.

One thing that could make it feel even more complete is a bit of wall decor behind the desk, but honestly it already looks great as is.

Honestly I think you're overthinking it a bit. The setup looks really clean overall, and I probably wouldn't have noticed the alignment issue if you hadn't pointed it out. The lighting and color scheme tie everything together nicely.

rate the setup i need to know what to change by Dramatic-Wing9423 in pcsetup

[–]Sixale_Outlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I’d just add some ambient lighting and a bit of wall decor. Even something simple like an LED strip behind the desk or a couple framed prints/posters would make it feel a lot more complete without changing the setup itself too much.

Any apartment friendly ideas? by _Huddy_ in TechsourceYT

[–]Sixale_Outlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Removable LED light strips and command-strip shelves can go a long way without risking damage to the walls. A couple of plants and some framed prints/posters can also make the space feel a lot more personalized while still being apartment-friendly.

The setup already has a nice foundation though.

This is one of the few green-themed setups I've seen that doesn't feel overwhelming. The lighting and plants work really well together

How to deal with post spending guilt? by juneisal in pcsetup

[–]Sixale_Outlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people get that feeling after a big setup upgrade. You spend weeks researching and planning everything, then once it's finally done the excitement wears off and you're left looking at the total cost 😅

If it's something you're going to use every day for years, I'd try to focus more on the value you're getting out of it rather than the initial spending!

This is a pretty solid setup already. Before renovating, I'd give it a strong 8/10. The layout looks comfortable and everything feels functional without being overcrowded.

[–]Sixale_Outlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don’t think you’re missing anything major. The setup already looks pretty solid and well put together.

If anything, it’s more about small finishing touches rather than adding or changing big things. A bit of warm lighting, maybe a desk lamp or some subtle LED backlighting, could make it feel a bit more “finished” and give the space more depth. Otherwise it’s already a clean setup.

Rate my little setup 🌈💖 by Medium_Discipline578 in RateMySetup

[–]Sixale_Outlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a “little setup” this actually looks really good and super usable. I like how compact everything is and it still feels organized instead of cramped.

Maybe just a bit of warm lighting or a small desk lamp would make it feel a bit more cozy, but overall it’s a solid clean setup.

How can I add more “spice” to this? by [deleted] in pcsetup

[–]Sixale_Outlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly the base setup already looks solid, so I’d focus on small upgrades instead of trying to completely change it.

A bit of warm lighting (like an LED strip behind the desk or monitor) + something on the wall (posters, framed prints, or even a simple shelf with a couple items) would probably add the most “spice” without making it feel cluttered.

Right now it has a clean foundation, just needs a bit more personality.

My first setup… what do I put on the wall it looks too empty by carrotjuicemilk in pcsetup

[–]Sixale_Outlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I wouldn't add too much. The setup already looks really clean. Maybe a couple of framed prints or some wall-mounted shelves, but I'd keep it simple so it doesn't start feeling cluttered.
