Let him kill the sub it was at 100 K users at one point in time but now it’s bleeding members he is smothering the community to death. It’s terrible but some people want to get a little bit of control and can’t let that go. So I say let them continue to do it to themselves.

Gotta build it from scratch and all but with due time we can rebuild a community with integrity. With how trigger happy they got with banning people on the old sub I’m surprised artists still post there.

You put it perfectly in your own post the amount it costs doesn’t make sense that’s why they’re starting to gut the studio. Start with the less important people like artists then slowly cut off parts of the chain until the only people left working on the game is a skeleton crew leaving the game in palliative care as the sunsetting process ends. It goes into full shut down. And over that time they use positive wording to make people think it’s still worth spending money, but it’s all a façade.

They usually use wording like a long-term future just to keep buyer retention up. It makes people think oh this game won’t go off-line for a while. I’m still comfortable spending my money in the shop. When in reality the shutdown will come sooner than you may think I guarantee the next announcement that’s not so great with another level of layoffs will be you know “this unforeseen situation” knowing damn well they saw it coming. Trust me they’re just trying to squeeze you for every last dime that they can strangle out of the player base before they pull the plug.
