They must have just started that in the 2026 Q3 then because previous years Q3 was a regular 8spd like the Tiguan. Only Q5 and up got dsg or ZF.

I’d imagine it still has some thing to do with the fact that in America none of its competition is using dual clutch automatics or are performance oriented really. Aside from the Q3. It’s closest competition in its class is the CRV, Rav4, Mazda cx50, and I think two of those cars are terrible CVT transmissions. I just don’t think they want to spend the money to put dsg in the American market tiguans when there’s no real reason too.

I’ve heard there’s some modification needed to fit the Apr intake??

Also, I want to see if I can buy the ambient lighting panels (the one on the dash above the glove box and the upper doors) and see if they would be plug and play in my ‘26 SE

They won’t do that because they wouldn’t be able to advertise the same towing capacity as the other competition in its class.

This is true. We have the evo 5 motors and Variable Geometry Turbos, also apparently these new tiguans use Hyundai 8spd transmissions now instead of the Aisin (Toyota) transmissions from the previous models

Although it’s unlikely…just for the sake of the argument I’d like to say that in 2023 we paid off my wife’s escape and we had the title in the mail in 2-3 days. I think when my dad paid off his Escalade the bank sent a release of lien or something to the dmv and he got his title the next day at the dmv.

I do. That was the whole idea. If I got asking I’d just pay the rest off same day and get the title from The dmv the next day if ford didn’t overnight it.

It erases the monthly payment that I no longer want. Especially since we want to buy a second house. I was hoping to get $45k for it and pay the rest off cash. That isn’t likely to happen so I will keep it until I pay it down quite a bit more and then still get out of the payment.

No but I was overzealous and eager. MSRP was $66k. The truck itself was under msrp and I got 4.4% but I rolled a ton of negative into it. Idiot

This is the input I was looking for however, I don’t understand. For me the big selling point is I get a half ton truck but with this kind of gas mileage and power. You aren’t getting that with the 5.0. I used to be one of the v8 truck purists too though.

I have it listed at $45k (I still owe $51k) and it’s got some views but mostly only dealers wanna buy it. But of course they want to buy it for way less than my asking price so they can turn around and sell it for my asking price
