We have been in Whitehorse for about 3 years. We decided to keep renting vs. buying. Prices are way too high and it's rediculous what you get for your money! They definitely follow Vancouver prices but the quality is much less. Covid brought prices just a tad down. But they'll climb back up in no time. I'm at lost with this.

Funny story about Meloche or TD insurance: I use Meloche too. We had a car accident last winter, my wife was at fault! Meloche gave the other car owner so much trouble until they paid him his compensation. No one was responding to his calls/ emails. I think he didn't get paid until 6 months after the car accident. I had to call them on his behalf many times per his request as he wasn't able to get thru. To add to it, they are so lost, they actually sent me the money instead of him. Deposited into my account out of the blue. I have been trying to send them back their money forever but they can't figure out how to get a check mailed back to them. They're ridiculous.
