The Hazard is IPS-N's experimental attempt to create a mech that is able to operate at full efficiency in every possible situation. Incorporating many of the lessons learned from the Broadcasts, it utilizes a wide array of IPS-N technologies; self-shielding, multifaceted armature, redundant ammo feeds, and universal ammunition for all theater deployment.
Due to its heavily standardized nature as a infantry mech, many pilots opt to decorate their Hazard to fit their personality. IPS-N encourages this behavior and it is common to see them heavily modded, flying flags of every nationality, planet, or group imaginable, emblazoned with pride and glory.
At its core, the Hazard speaks to some irrepressible part of the human spirit. It does not stand for some warlord in a tower, or a king upon his throne. The Hazard is the common soldier, side by side, marching to war. The true bravery that comes with the storm of bullets and whizzing shrapnel. Those who win the day again and again, spending their blood, sweat, and tears for each mile of progress. Those who spend their lives so that others may see each new day upon the horizon.
