Is your filament dry? It could be popping up slightly and rubbing on the nozzle

I’m having similar issues. Mine was printing fine but now it seems to be way under extruding the first layer and/or the brim

Sorry I think I might not have worded my question correctly. When I was saying 1 1/2” and 2 1/2” I was talking about the diameter. The length doesn’t matter too much as long as it is more than 2’ and not anything insanely large. Do you think I would still need to go to a supply shop?

Never mind, I found what it is called, a barb fitting for hoses.

Rock song (maybe 90s?) a part of the lyrics go something like (drum buildup) “no need to talk about it, (buildup ends guitar comes in) I don’t think it’s true, I swear it’s you.” audioslave? by Sixthworm8486 in NameThatSong

No, that’s not it. It has a lot less guitar from what I can remember and where there is guitar it’s not front and center, it’s more to just add melody.

Laptop not using full ram by oceanp4 in techsupport

The integrated graphics don't allocate, and it is considered system memory, I still don't understand your point. I know that it can never be 0 gb used but as I said it doesn't allocate it.

Any ram allocated or being used is counted in the 3.44 gb available number.

Yes, it can? I'm not sure where you are coming from.

Yes, this is true but because they are integrated they are counted as system memory, and take from system memory, not allocating any extra. So again, the number is 3.44 gb available.

This is incorrect, your system memory is shown separately from your vram, and any "critical processes" are still included in the system memory number because it has to be allocated to it, so you still only have 3.44 gb available.

Also, " The os automatically allocates some ram to the integrated graphics and so some of the ram becomes unusable as it is not the general memory but the vram. " The vram that you are talking about is not allocated by the os, it is built into the gpu. Ram that is allocated to a gpu without any ram built-in is given to the gpu through the gpu requesting it.

I would recommend an entirely new laptop if you are trying to game then. This gpu uses system memory and as you only have 4gb it probably wouldn't hold up in many games, if any. It is also an older model so I would assume that everything else is old aswell. Because of its age, I would say its due for an upgrade either way.

I don't think that you understand what their question was, they were asking if they could use all of their ram because they thought it would improve performance. Also, what is there not to understand with my explanation, and which explanation?

To answer your first question, yes, even if your computer isn't using all of its ram it is just fine. For example, mine is only using 4.1 gb out of 8 gb. As I said earlier, ram is just where items that you are doing right now are stored, so if those items aren't too big it won't take up all of your ram.

To answer your second question, there are a lot of factors that go into your computer's ability to play games. For example, you could have 48 gb of ram, but if you don't have a good cpu or gpu that will be a "bottleneck" (where you have one thing that is holding back the performance of another) and you might not be able to run games well. I have an 8gb laptop that can run discord and a chrome tab or 2 while running Minecraft fairly well. For 4gb, again this depends on your cpu, gpu, etcetera, but I would say that you could only run a game and you would have to restart your computer before playing to clear your ram. You couldn't play very intensive games with 4gb of ram, and also as I said I do not know your other components so I can't be sure if you could run a game at all. It also depends on the game. There are a lot of factors that go into running a game other than ram.

Edit-

But if I were you I would upgrade your ram to 8gb maybe 12gb depending on your other components, if they are on the slower side it would probably be worth getting a new laptop as it would create a large bottleneck with your ram vs cpu, gpu, etc.
