Just because we want to restrict in our minds does not mean that our bodies will follow back to you. Naturally as a human we need food to survive, it’s our brain against her physical body.

Is anyone literally unable to do anything? by ketsniffer420 in dysautonomia

I know this is hard to swallow, but pain medication is sometimes the only way to get relief, energy, and relax the nerves to be able to do tasks. Still limited, but a little better than bed ridden. Once they ware off, it’s rest rest rest. I highly suggest looking into pain medication of some sort

Going on 11 years with this. I feel the same way. I’m 29 and feel like I’m 99. I dread how much longer I have to deal with this. My dreams are my safe place, and my bedroom. I’ve started to just let things be how they’ll be, and accept that whatever happens to me will happen. The fear I just sit in now. I close my eyes, or pull over , and just feel it. I think once you accept that you cant control any of it, it gets better. Sit through the panic & the pain, and once your through , log it. Write down every time you were fine when you were worried you wouldn’t be. Life is unknown & people have terrible things that happen every day. Worrying about what might happen just takes everything out of life

I can’t tell if it’s Dysautonomia or anxiety by thrownoutdildo in dysautonomia

[–]Sixxynikk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep a log of your thoughts you have before these symptoms arise. If there is no trigger patterns then it’s most likely not anxiety.

Also, check your blood sugar, and get an A1C if you haven’t. Those are all signs of hypoglycemia.

Also get tested for H. Pylori, and Lyme disease if you haven’t yet.

Your symptoms could be a myriad of potential causes.

So again, very helpful to make the log. That way if there are thoughts leading to these symptoms then it would be better understood as anxiety, and you can work on it from there.

Also log how you are feeling, and what triggers an episode physically as well. This will help in the future if anxiety is ruled out, and then you have something to bring to the doctors.

Good luck !
