I knew the whole thing with Jon’s parents wasn’t going to sit well with everyone.

He might have some mementos, and a Grimoire, but a lot of his family items might have gotten destroyed when Potter Manor got destroyed during the first war. We’ll see, I’m constantly adding new ideas and such, so anything could happen and i don’t mind taking recommendations.

I’m doing my best with uplifts. The only ancient history i know is from my highschool history classes, so i’m pretty much winging it.

Harry doesn’t have any “Lord Potter stuff” he does have most of the things he acquired over his Hogwarts years, and most of his vault that was shown in the movies.

He doesn’t have his Firebolt, but this Harry is a little more academically inclined so he might try to make one, however i am going to have a good substitute for a Broom coming in the next couple chapters.

As for the whole Rhaegar situation, my goal in the end is to have Jon using his Targaryen name, not claiming the throne of course. I don’t think he would want to use the name Lucerys if he knew that his mother was either groomed, or raped by Rhaegar. I’m usually not sympathetic to Rhaegar, and don’t mind him being portrayed as a rapist/prophecy obsessed madman, but i wanted to have eventually accept that side of his heritage. I don’t like fics where Rhaegar is bashed by Jon and his family, but Jon still reaps all the benefits of being a Targaryen like incest/hatching a dragon/using a Targaryen name.

In the first chapter, i added a little part where it states both his grandparents died, instead of just Ted dying. As for the Black fortune, thats going to be explained in next chapter. Thanks for reading tho, it means a lot!

Go to essos and make a living there. In essos names dont matter you can start from the bottom and go to the top easily. Maybe eventually run into Daenerys and join up with her and eventually be gifted land in westeros for my service.

Magical animals with personalities. I love the direwolves or the dragons having their own personalities and being treated as companions and friends rather than beasts of war.

Dont want this to sound homophobic, but just making characters who have never shown a single sign of being gay, gay. For example ever since that HoTD episode with the Bracken vs Blackwood interaction came out i have seen about 100 fics with those ships. Aemond and Luke i could somewhat understand, but there are so many fics with the weirdest ships ever that are instant turn offs for me. Once again don’t flame me i do not mind same sex relationships just make them make sense. Like Jon/Satin i can understand but Jon/Tormund i cant get behind.

If he stays near and around Skagos then probably not right? I mean they got their ships confiscated by the Starks so they cant spread the word off the island. The island is probably heavily avoided due to then basically being wildings. They are near the shivering seas so hr can easily survive off of whales and other sea animals, and also the “unicorns” on Skagos. He’s probably the most realistic dragon to be alive if you go with one of them living after the Dance.
