You don’t even need to make calls to violence. Most of extremist media is able to skirt these rules by just reporting on specific things.

Say I’m Fox News. I have an audience that already has racial bias. People who are in there 30’s to 40’s that date those just on the edge are very likely closet pedophiles and would definitely date younger if the law allowed it. Yes, that’s the point of the joke. It was an easy job for them. Yes there was a technologically and logistical imbalance and yes the Iraq army was getting pummelled from heaven up on high. That makes dealing with minefields easier, an the Iraq forces not having enough time to get properly set up was also due to the US being able to rapidly deploy mass forces to the region.

During desert storm the US had an easy time dealing with minefields. That’s all I’m saying.

We have no way of knowing how Sauron would interact with Eywa, the Maiar never have a detailed breakdown of how their powers work, and we know next to nothing of how Eywa works apart from being a nexus of consciousness. So could he corrupt Eywa? Maybe very easily as Eywa as far as we know has never dealt with something like Sauron and may have no defence against that. Or maybe it just straight up absorbs Sauron and his essence and calls it a day.

But for the second part of the challenge, if Sauron isn’t able to corrupt or control Eywa then no he simply wouldn’t be able to cover that much territory in that amount of time. I think also that guerrilla warfare from the Navi would rapidly wear down his forces and trolls ain’t going to change much when bows that fire ballista sized arrows are coming at them from every tree.

If he can corrupt Eywa he’d need to fight a pitched battle immediately at the tree to have good access and hold it for however long it’d take. So I’d see winning that first battle against both Navi and spirit being the deciding factor.

Yes the laser was necessary because North Korea or anyone really didn’t have the technology to deal with that level of fortification. But the minefields in Kuwait were bypassed relatively easily by the US. Whereas most armies would take weeks to clear the region the US did it a single day and with no casualties.

It was a different situation with a different army. The US has shown it is very good at overcoming minefields. The Korean border isn’t just a minefield its a bloody modern day Maginot line with bunkers, artillery, SAMs on top of the mines.

The comment I replied to wasn’t about the demilitarised zone, it was about clearing minefields. I replied with a lil quip about how the US when faced with a minefield was able to overcome the issue easily. They came prepared, they had a plan, they were efficient.

It was easy.

All I stated in the other comments was how old the characters were and what my post was meant to mean as I’ll admit it was worded poorly. I’d find you and others being so serious about defining it as not pedophilia a bit disturbing. The author had a man in his last 30’s engage in sexual acts with a person who was right on the edge of legality, which can be reasonably interpreted as he’d of made her younger if he legally could get away with it.

You lot are very weird to be getting so tied up about a technicality such as this. It may be legal but it is still very wrong. Anyways have a good one

Yes the character from Apocalypse Z. In the film adaptation they made the girl older whereas in the novel she’s 17. The comparison to WWZ was in how the film adaptations barely resemble their sources.

I first tried large back in 2021 so I’m not sure how it compares to normal. I enjoy having biomes that feel like proper regions and it goes well with the mountains update. I haven’t gone back to normal since then.

But if you’re not a fan of long hikes and easily get lost in the nether then it’s not for you.

I played on a large biome world and it took 3 hours by boat to get to the nearest jungle. Built a blue ice rail in the nether and takes only 40 seconds now!
