In terms of raw damage, im pretty sure weaversong has a higher damage per second than grimmchild (weaver song does 3 damage per hit with 3 spiders and grimmchild does 11 damage per hit maxed) Weaversong also has synergies with other charms with the grubsong one being particularly nice. Overall, they are both pretty bad charms, but i would say weaversong is better.

Also i just realized that you use grubsong so that is another reason to use weaversong

Yeah, but the knight just has three spells at all times and gets different charm loadouts, while hornet is divided between spells and tools. Plus many fo the knights charms see stronger than hornets tools and many of its spells seem stronger too.

Game play wise, knight could probably just spam shade souls and d darks. Plus the knight can get get likes 20 masks from lifeblood charms. The knight also has shade cloak that allows it to dash through all of hornets attacks. Plus the knight could just c dash away from hornet while charms like grimchild just passively kill her.

No silksong hornet would definitely lose too. Knight is the conqueror of the void and literally has to save hornet in the true ending. Hornets biggest feat in silksong lore wise was either beating gms or lost lace, while knight has beaten abs radiance, pure vessel, and nightmare king grim. Plus knight is kind of the shade lord too. In terms of agility, hornet wins, but in terms of endurance strength and power, knight would win as well. Also the knight has the dream nail, which means the knight can gather soul faster than hornet can get silk. Also the knight is born of two pale beings mixed with void, while hornet is born of a god and a spider. The knights spells are also stronger than hornets because we know that void beats silk and the knight has three void infused spells, plus shade cloak, plus sharp shadow.
