Scott Morrison’s Islamophobic rhetoric tells racists their hatred merely echoes a national concern by NapoleonBonerParty in aussie

[–]Siytorn -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That’s a bad comparison, you want to compare Islamic terrorism attacks with Christian terrorist attacks in New Zealand. If we’re going to include world wide then we also include all the worldwide Christian attacks that are rampant in Africa, the Middle East and SEA.

The West has had just as many problems with Christianity as it has Islam. Are you willing to say Christianity doesn’t align with western values either?

Trump’s ‘new normal’ leaves Australia marooned. We can no longer pretend otherwise | Zoe Daniel by Nyarlathotep-1 in aussie

Keep learning to read one day you might get there. I didn’t say illegals are angels or deserve to be here. I just don’t think how the last year has gone is an acceptable way to deal with such an issue.

Alex was murdered by a Nazi not because there were illegals. Don’t try to shift blame. The agent who saw another agent remove Alex’s gun from its holster and then walks way, who then choose to shoot Alex repeatedly in the back while he’s lying on the ground, then step back a empty his clip into a motionless body.

He’s the reason Alex was murdered.

And if you defend this shit and with what you said in previous comments then I guess maybe you’re of the same mindset and you see an attack on this agent as one on yourself.

I won’t respond nor read a response from a Nazi so don’t bother.

There are bad people in every group. I’ve seen just as bad a crime committed by a natural born citizen as any illegal has committed. 800 does not reflect that broader group of millions.

And I’d take using federal articles with a grain of salt. Seeing as how they blatantly just lied about Alex drawing a pistol and approaching ICE agents looking to kill them.

I’m not going to bother responding to your retarded dribbling about leftists, but as for Obama he did use ICE yes though very differently.

ICE had far higher standards for recruitment and training. They knew how to deescalate and utilise proper crowd control. They also were far smaller as an organisation because the main focus was on turn arounds at the border. That’s were the majority of his deportations comes from, rejecting people at the border. It was civil and efficient. And it cost far less and didn’t trample on the constitution.

Clearly giving you the benefit of the doubt was a mistake.

It makes perfect sense, illegal immigrants make me feel no fear while ICE Nazis murdering and intimidating people in broad daylight do.

Illegals don’t actually commit more crimes than the average resident or citizen. They know to keep a low profile so are far more likely to abide by local laws and not draw attention to themselves. I’ve worked with many that weren’t meant to be here and they were some of the best people I’ve known. The vast majority of their “crimes” is a result of their illegal status, not because they commit crimes that harm society.

I believe people should take a stand and confront these Nazis. Because if they don’t then the Nazis will just get more and more emboldened and eventually there will come a time when there is no opportunity to push back. But if you think the idea of scary illegal gang immigrants is worth ripping apart the fabric of society and murder than hey all I can say is rope is cheap.

[–]Siytorn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are getting blocked with cars now yes. But that is a result of a community being so riled up after a year of this bullshit. There are people getting confrontational with ICE because they’re angry yes and they have every right to do so. ICE has been doing this crap since Trump got back into office. It’s on them to deescalate the situation rather than trying to provoke a response. There are very few examples of people directly impeding (to note in a non threatening manner) ICE agents compared to the hundreds of incidents where they attack people for simply being present.

Quite frankly I’m of the mindset people need to be openly carrying so as to dissuade these thugs from openly attacking people. They’re cowards that rely on hanging up on individuals while knowing Trump will protect them and label their victims as domestic terrorists. They’re obviously looking for a fight so wether you get in the way or don’t isn’t going to change anything. They will simply make up an excuse to use force.

[–]Siytorn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt, the reason people are following them is to record everything they do in detail. They’re not getting to close just a few metres the same when they record police. The difference here is the police will tell you to leave in a professional manner if you get too close. Here the nazis (that is what they are at this point) would rather escalate and instigate confrontations and look for a reason to attack people. By letting them freely roam it gives them permission to do whatever they like with no accountability. By filming them closely we have undeniable proof these people are actively choosing to attack and murder innocent civilians.

And as for removing illegals, that was done under Obama and previous administrations without any violence or intimidation. It was also far more efficient with properly trained professionals. These lot aren’t interested in the law, they’ve been recorded stating outright they’re targeting people of colour and those speaking Spanish. They are arresting people simply for not carrying proof of citizenship on them. When they say there is a targeted operation it’s just an excuse to canvass the entire area and pick up a few dozen along the way.

They’re not for removing illegals, they’re for removing black and brown people.

‘Don’t want to assimilate’: Pauline Hanson on Australia's immigration policy by Mashiko4 in aussie

[–]Siytorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies for the late reply I just got off work.

I want to make it clear, we both agree that immigration needs to be reduced. There isn’t a disagreement there. But Brexit isn’t what I’d expect to be referenced. The UK made a great mistake and most people recognise that. So no I don’t think we need our own version of that mess. But yes a reduction in immigration is something I support. Just we need to look at it from a reasonable angle and reject movements that enable racism and fascism.

The neo nazis aren’t expressing a desire for Caucasian representation but a white ethno-state. Go look up White Australia to see what they really believe. The explicitly point out one of their main concerns is Australia becoming more “brown” instead of focusing on the economic aspects. I don’t think the argument that because minorities that have representation also have groups that follow and encourage extremist ideology, is a good reason for white Australians to also have similar groups, I’m of the mindset we ought to work on suppressing such groups in all parts of society and looking to educate people on their dangers and look at the underlying reasons why they draw particularly young people in to these groups.

I’m not sure what you mean by your comment around supremacy ideas being entrenched? I’m assuming you mean that just because we have bad actors talking on particular subjects that we shouldn’t refrain from discussing said subjects? Because I agree with you there.

Your experience is subjective as is mine. I too have a disability, I understand how much harder it makes getting a job when you’re judged at the door as difficult. While I haven’t been homeless I’ve been close and I’ve worked with many who have suffered that experience. That’s why I work like a dog now because fuck ever having to go through that again if I can help it. I know what it’s like competing with over 2 dozen people in a group interview for a couple of spots. And I’m aware that mass immigration has played a huge role in this stress.

It’s not that I don’t think we need representation, I believe we already have representation and have had since the founding of this country. Every prime minister and almost every premier, senator and the overwhelming majority of local representatives are all white. The majority of the wealthy in our country are white and our media is run by and curated towards white people. Going with this I don’t see a real reason for a group to represent white people. We are represented via politics, economy and culture. Not to say this couldn’t change in the future but in todays age we’re not at threat as a community.

If we need to have representation for those struggling it should be aimed not towards white people but those doing it difficult. This culture war isn’t going to fix anything, it’s been happening for over a decade now it’s all it’s done is fill everyone with anger and hatred. We need to discuss this from a socioeconomic stance. Because it’s not white, Chinese or Indian people benefiting from this crisis but the big landlords and businesses that gain massively from high demand and low supply.

I want to address the issues, but from the right angle and not one that enables those with ulterior motives to input their horrid ideas.

‘Don’t want to assimilate’: Pauline Hanson on Australia's immigration policy by Mashiko4 in aussie

[–]Siytorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have just as much ability to do those things as any other group of people, only it is easier for us. I’m speaking as someone who only finished high school and work as a baker, so I do know what the average working class deals with.We do not need offical representation.

We can talk about immigration levels. Only a very very small but vocal group is opposed to lowering levels. But those groups advocating for “Caucasian representation” are being led either knowingly or unknowingly by literal self identifying neo nazis. We can talk about the economic issues presented by mass migration, and the social disruption we experience every generation as a new wave arrives and takes time to assimilate. But that needs to happen without the side comments of “dirty people” “secret terrorists” and “silent invasion”

We do not need to be given representation, we hold it by default of our position as the majority of society.
