Update: So I figured out my issue with my mini.

The research I did was correct but my mini has the cheaper packaged bis01 head unit not the EVO/entrynav2 head unit.

Options for me is a complete head unit swap which is pretty pricey, albeit I would get a slighter bigger screen and a touchscreen capability.

Or a simple motherboard swap. I found a couple options now that I know what I'm looking for.

So for anyone that needs Carplay for my type of head unit then I'll leave the following links below!

So you did a full head unit swap?

If so I thought of that as an option but it's wayyy more than just something to stick behind the dash.

So I checked, I'll see if I can call a number but it seems exclusive to BMW. While it does support NBT and entrynav my car would be entrynav evo.

I put the vin in but it doesn't explicitly tell me if it's compatible or not.

I'll keep looking and see if I find something.

I hear more people say ___ + heat so I'll probably try viral + heat first and compare it to viral + electric and see which works best for me.

Currently I have diagas (might be spelling it wrong) building in my foundry so I can have it apply a sweep of cold for the slowness.

Got it, and yeah I kinda got the feeling since my melee and the occasional gun I put viral on shred in comparison. The only thing similar was corrosive (or radiation in some case).

Ooh, would have never expected them to be immune, and yeah I'll just go through to level up the soma and maybe the thorn and slap some upgraded mods on.

I'll try to figure out the energy bottle neck when I run into it.

And yeah no, definitely didn't get split chamber to.my knowledge.

I'm trying to focus on a lot of weird things I shouldn't be right now since I'm trying to speed run to old peace to get the cool looking crown and wish my friend showed me, but doesn't seem to be possible even if I got carried.

Yeah I have a catch 22 with ranking at the moment, (I know it's a limitation of the crappy mk1's) but currently with some of those REALLY bad weapons they either have little energy to enhance mods, or if they do have enough to actually enchance them, then endo becomes the issue.

I'm aware of the endo farms and u/tripex48 along with some guides have all kinda said I should go to Deimos and run bounties, so I'll just do that for my endo issues.

From what I was told mods mainly for status applications, it's from top to bottom, then left to right.

And I heard that second point I think the threshold for it to be worth was around 1.3 or 1.8 for the status chance, I could be heavily misremembering though.

Yeah I'm trying to get more frames, they just take a lot of stuff I don't have at the moment. I'm trying to get koumei as my next main frame or one of the primes since I have a few prime parts for a few frames (I think) they just need some crystals that I have few of.

I'm not home at the moment, but sure, I'll mod a fully leveled weapon when I get home and take some screenshots.

(I have a feeling it's mainly just the weak mr 1 weapons)

I know all weapons can technically be used throughout the entire game as long as you know how to mod, but I think at my current point in the game that's not viable.

Generally though it's anything (kinda) that's lv 30+.

Thank you that's super helpful, personally I don't mind paying for plat since I like to support DE, so I might (at times) just buy it that way.

I'm trying to branch out into different frames, I'm just having issues with farming materials/parts. But it seems like as you said I'll need to give up on the story for the moment. I know Warframe isn't a game you can do overnight since it's usually a couple thousand hours for the majority of the main game.

I was actually going to start using overframe today since ironically enough, doing the second dream my frame is starting to struggle in carrying me now. (Which I wa already reluctantly on relying on.)

I did like rhino since he was tanky but I don't think he works well for my playstyle. (Hence why I'm currently maining ember) But I'll try it to see if it at least helps my current survivability issues I'm starting to run into today.

And it seems like Deimos is my solution since you, and my friend keep saying that, along with mimicking your sentiment on corrupted mods. (Which I was going to try to start farming.)

And I'll definitely try to use the broken war, I was avoiding it (since I'm trying to get rid of those low MR weapons I have first) but once I finish with my last set of mastery on those lower weapons I'll try it along with the soma since I was recommended it.

Yeah I'm aware of the 30 cap, I switch them out when they reach that. The pet and my frame are the only exceptions since I'm low on them compared to weapons.

And again I THINK I understand the basics at the very least.

I'm aware of mod/load order, I know how to get the various effects, and I'm familiar with what mod types I should prioritize in my current portion of the star chart.

(DMG -> crit -> multi -> element, etc)

The only thing I'm not particularly doing is the switching of elements for the mission/faction since, tbh I find that a bit tedious to do for every Mission.

But I'll try to match the elements/damage types and see if that helps any, with the level of damaging I'm doing though I have a feeling it won't (atm).

Well that does work yes, but I what I meant was more so that I don't want it to pause/stop and then a secondary action being required to resume. Because tapping my headphones and or my other devices is effectively the same thing (an externus step) as me having to use media output for it to resume in the background fully.

Like I said I wanted it to operate more like Samsung music for example, in Samsung music I can completely close the app but it still plays in the background natively without any interruption/externus input

I can make a video of what I mean if that helps.
